"For the price you don’t get much. I could stay at a 4 star hotel in downtown Chicago for the price and it seemed like a plain 3 star hotel. I didn’t have many options in the area so I guess they are price gouging. "

"Property was just as described. We had a busy weekend visiting our sons at Mizzou so we weren't able to take advantage of most of what this property has to offer. We loved the screen porch. It was so clean and peaceful. The location is just perfect, very easy to get in and out and a quick Uber from downtown if you don't want to drive. Added bonus was the coffee and water. We didn't even make a trip to the grocery store and that was much appreciated. We will definitely stay again! "

"The rooms are clean and comfortable. The location is convenient to the two major highways, grocery store and restaurants. We don’t use pools or jacuzzis when we travel, but, they do have them and the area is clean and centrally located on the property. The front counter staff was a bit confrontations when we arrived. We are local residents living in Columbia and the staff member questioned why we were staying with them. Seemed an odd question. Apparently they do not normally allow locals to stay there. I had to explain to him that we had our house completely packed up as we are moving. Why in the world would I need to explain anything to him. We need a room, they are a hotel… The other item we didn’t like is the breakfast. It’s pretty horrible. Food was room temp and the eggs were obviously powdered. Very nominal assortment."

"First off, the hotel was under construction(this was never mentioned on the website or Expedia). This included the POOL AND THE GYM! The pool and hot tub were high on our list, so this was a huge let down. Again this was never mentioned. The room was dusty, the furniture archaic, and the lighting was so terrible in the living area of the suite(yes I paid way extra!), all you could do was watch TV. I couldn’t use the couch because it sunk down into a V in the middle! Breakfast was not included in this inflated price point and the restaurant was only open limited hours. VERY DISAPPOINTING STAY! HOLIDAY INN, never again. "
