"The motel is on the main road in Charters Towers and very noisy. Most of the day and night there are cattle trains travelling past - just a warning if you are a light sleeper or travelling with children.
The family room we stayed in didn't have a lock or latch on the bathroom door and the door wouldn't close if you were in the shower as the two doors blocked each other.
The night before staying here, we stayed in a new, two bedroom, two bathroom motel with full kitchen, etc for the same price...
