Excellent cabin

The location was better than the pictures showed! It was perfect for 5 adults and 2 children. The property was absolutely beautiful and though there were other occupants in other cabins it was very quiet and peaceful. If we ever come back to this area we will definitely book another sta.

Exactly What We Hoped For!

Our stay at Cedar Creek was amazing! Loved the traditional cabin feel and look and really enjoyed the amenities of the property! Will definitely be looking into going back! The lake was really great and we really appreciated that Cedar Creek had different things we could do on the lake! Close to COMO and Kingdom City.

Nice, quiet getaway

We came for a MIZZOU event and debated whether to stay closer to the university. We were so glad we booked here instead. We loved the cozy, quaint cabin. The property was beautiful. We look forward to coming back again for another visit perhaps when the weather is a little warmer.

The cabin was quaint in every way possible & very well maintained. If you like fishing, you will stay footsteps away from where you can cast your line. Really nice!

Cute Clean Cabim

Cabin was nice and clean. Grounds were great. Perfect location for meeting up with my Mizzou student and decompressing. They allowed dogs which was also a benefit. Having a full bath up and down was great. Will stay there again. I did ask a couple questions that were never answered so I am not sure what was up with that. Other than that all was good.

Nice property

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very relaxing sitting out on the porch swing watching the sunset over the lake. Also did some fishing and hooked a few bass. We plan to come back during our next visit to Columbia.

We stayed in one of the delightful cabins near the lake. Well appointed, new interior, great AC and TVs. We enjoyed the porch swing each evening to watch the sun set beyond the lake. I enjoyed fishing for bass, perch and crappie. All around terrific experience.

Terrific Cabins on Lake

Very up to date, roomy, stylish. Has everything you need. Great view and short walk to lake. We enjoyed each evening on the porch swing watching the sunset beyond the lake and I enjoyed fishing for bass, crappie and perch. Terrific!

Family togetherness

This was a great spot for our three older children and for us and our two younger children to gather under the same roof for a few hours on a weekend by "meeting in the middle" of our locations. We enjoyed fishing, playing board games, walking, and just spending time together away from our busy lives.

Quiet and relaxing place

Wasn't exactly sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised. Nice comfortable cabins, very quiet and secluded area, just overall a great relaxing vacation. Nice pond and first come first serve use of the pontoon and paddle boats for free. Definitely would return.

Beautiful View

The property and lake are beautiful and relaxing. We enjoyed fishing and camp fires. Close enough to Colombia to run for supplies or even enjoy some shopping/entertainment. My only complaint is the kitchen. There is a grill but no grill tools. There was very few pantry staples and no cooking utensils. Overall though it was a very nice property. Very quiet.

Our stay was totally awesome I highly recommend anyone to stay at Cedar Creek. I will say though that the sofa bed was very uncomfortable so I slept on the sofa part and it was fine. We had high winds and storms our second night and the gas grill was knocked over LOUD BANG but otherwise the rain on the roof was very peaceful sleeping. I’m 75 and my 3 daughters all in their 50’s felt totally safe and met some very nice people.

Overall good

We have stayed at multiple places booked through VRBO over the years. We were just a bit surprised with the lack of pantry items. Very sparse. Also, there were no extra blankets, only the bedding for the sofa. The outlet on near the main TV didn't work (one of the outlets did but other did not). The toilet upstairs did not flush regularly. No wine glasses or bottle opener. Overall our stay was good, just missing many of the personal touches we have experienced with other stays.

Tiny cabin, huge accommodations.

Loved staying in such a cozy cabin by the lake. It was the perfect spot to celebrate thanksgiving with my folks.
