  • Daylight basement newly-remodeled apartment with three bedrooms in Columbia Falls is just 20 minutes to Glacier National and just 100 yards from the best fishing holes in the Flathead River. One of the owners is editor and photographer of local newspaper, an avid fly fisherman and has hiked all the trails in Glacier and is readily available for insider advice and trip planning for the adventurous family looking to get away from the crowds. Apartment is just 7 miles to the airport and walking distance to fine dining, great coffee, two bakeries, a hometown brewery and a big city park with a playground for the kids is out the front door. It features a fully furnished kitchen, full bath and high speed WIFI.

The host was fantastic!! Given that it’s a basement suite there was a lot of bugs. The dog upstairs disrupted our sleep quite a bit however he was a very sweet pup. The space was large and met our needs but very outdated decor. Fun perk of the property was walking distance to the river, fresh grapes off the vine and great location between the park and airport!

Wonderful stay while visiting Glacier National Park. Location is perfect and Columbia Falls has everything you need. Host is so welcoming! Even helpful with our flat tire! Thanks for the sweet grapes and fresh tomatoes! We hope to be back and do some fishing next time!

We had a great stay at Sherry’s place! We really appreciated the eggs/milk/bread/butter and icees she had waiting for us 😊 The location was great for access to the park and it was nice to have room for our teenage boys to spread out!

Home away from home

Property was well maintained, owner was quick to respond and fix the couple things that came up, across from a playground that the kids loved, and mountains in your back yard! Great recommendations for things to do in the area, overall fantastic experience and cannot wait to return!back

Great Place

Sherry was very welcoming. We were not expecting to be greeted by such a warm friendly person. We feel like we made a friend in Sherry. I can’t say enough good things about her. If we make the trip back to Glacier, we’re going to stay here again. ~The Grant Family.

Amazing!

I couldn’t ask for a better place to stay while visiting Glacier National Park. Sherry was so helpful and kind. She provided basic food supplies and the place was spotless! She provided toilet paper, paper towels, coffee, and filters. The location is perfect with only a 20 minute drive to West Glacier entrance and 2 minutes to downtown restaurants, grocery store and laundromat. I will definitely stay with Sherry again when I come to Glacier! Thank you for a great stay!

Other members if my group got there before me and were a bit confused on where to go, mostly to the fault of my travel companions going to the wrong door.I missed that it was a basement apartment and that the owners lived up stairs, with dogs. Again my mistake. The host was accommodating, with some delay. We requested a few basic kitchen items that were missing. She did provide but after we finished cooking, on 2 different occasions.Positives. Great location. 20 minute drive to rhe west entrance of Glacier. The downtown was cute as well, so nice local shops. And a plethora of coffee spots.We left a trivia game for future travelers.Overall, for the price, it was the least expensive in the area and suitable for the 7 of us.

Our family of 5 was very comfortable with this as a base to explore Glacier. Sherry provided many extra touches to make it a very comfortable stay and my kids loved it. The park across the street was a lovely bonus as well. Highly recommend this stay!

Great place!

This home put is in great proximity to Glacier National Park. Our host was incredibly friendly, greeted us when we arrived, and provided milk, bread, and eggs. She was easy to contact if needed, and we loved the big family room. Would definitely stay here again.

Just Right

We enjoyed our visit to Glacier and our stay was made perfect by our host’s attentiveness. Our coffee maker did not work and she replaced it right away. We appreciated the personal greeting for check-in. Thanks so much!
