The Caboose was an excellent place to stay for our trip to Glacier National Park and our first time in Montana! Thanks to Dan and Holly for the amazing accommodations. A very cozy and unique space to stay with a seamless check-in and check-out process. Amos and Annie were the best greeters as well!
This was such a great little place to stay and the kids were so excited to sleep in a train car. Everything you need is here and the location is perfect when headed into Glacier.
The caboose had everything we needed while visiting Glacier National Park. It was perfect for the two of us. Close to the park and restaurants. The layout of the caboose was amazing! They have so many interesting details. It’s the most unique rental we have ever had.

This property is located in a very quiet area and is located close to the west entrance to Glacier National Park. It’s a unique place and the hosts are very friendly and welcoming.
Very nice and situated at the end of their property next to a horse pasture. Quiet but so conveniently located between Whitefish and GNP. Saw deer daily and it was so peaceful. Used the fire pit, grill, dishes, containers for packing up lunch for hikes, coffee maker and toaster. Perfect size for a few days or even a week. Look forward to returning - Holly and her family were so kind.
Perfect for needs, our Girls Vacation. We enjoyed the back deck for morning coffee, and evening vino. Thank you!

This place was FANTASTIC! Close to Glacier National Park, great country setting, super clean, the most comfortable bed, great mountain views and awesome owners, plus they had 2 small dogs that gave me doggie fix, while missing mine at home. I would recommend this a 1000 times!
Such an amazing property. Wonderful, kind and informative hosts. We enjoyed our stay immensely and we're so thankful we booked. Convenient to Glacier and Columbia Falls - we loved the restaurants that were recommended. It was the perfect spot for our family (3 kids, 2 adults). Thank you for sharing the Caboose!
Nice and quiet location conveniently located with easy access to West Glacier, Whitefish, Big Fork, and Kalispell - only 5 minutes to downtown Columbia Falls. The renovation of the caboose is the work of a true craftsman. The downside is there’s no bathroom wash basin and no chairs (that I found) to enjoy sitting on the peaceful patio where there’s a wonderful view of the mountains, horses, and likely deer grazing.Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend for a unique and peaceful getaway.
This caboose is adorable. Our whole family loved the novelty of it and it was close to restaurants, a large grocery store and the west entrance to GNP.

Wow, what an awesome place! Staying at the caboose added a great element to our Glacier trip. We loved sitting on the deck watching the horses at sunset. We ate dinner on the deck every night after a long day of hiking. This place is super clean and so fun. Highly recommended.
This converted caboose was perfect for our stay while visiting Glacier National Park. It’s very clean and had all the necessary amenities inside as well as a deck out back and a fire pit to enjoy the nice view of the mountains.
It was just as fun to come home to our train as it was to see the sights at glacier. The kids loved it and the attention to detail made all the difference. They were great to communicate with and answered my questions in a timely matter.
We arrived with ease thanks to easy to follow directions. The caboose was so clean, had everything we needed, and the hosts were so accommodating! Our kids thought it was so cool to sleep in a train car!

Holly and Dan were excellent hosts. Enjoyed several conversations with them. Caboose was planned out so well. Enjoyed deck early evenings. Train light outside was a wonderful tough to the atmosphere. Wish we could have stayed longer. Cannot tell you how nice this stay was.
Had a great time in the caboose. Loved the nostalgic feel. Owners were close and available, but not needed. Loved the patio. Air cooled it nicely. Was surprised no tv, but thankful too. Close to GNP west entrance. Thanks for the memories.
This little caboose is completely remodeled and clean, Clean, CLEAN! I grabbed this up as soon as I found it on VRBO for a last minute trip to Glacier with my oldest daughter. We really enjoyed it. There are some steeper steps to get in. It is small and everyone inside will know where you are. But, there are comfortable beds, a nice love seat, and it is quiet. The refinished original wood is just beautiful. Thank goodness the bathroom is fresh. In 1913 there was a toilet that emptied onto the tracks! That toilet is available for your viewing pleasure should you desire, but you will have to ask the owners.. The windows provide fantastic ventilation and we did not use the available air conditioner. Perhaps on hotter summer days. This is a lovely tiny house that is only four minutes from Montana Coffee Traders in Columbia Falls. Maybe 25 minutes to Whitefish and the West Entrance to Glacier.

The caboose is absolutely adorable and so unique. It was stocked with almost anything you may need for the kitchen and bathroom, minus food and personal items. We were greeted by Dan and his playful pup when we arrived, and they were both extremely pleasant. We didn't have the opportunity to meet Holly, but she was very attentive to any email correspondence and questions we had. She sent us a Google location map link that took us directly to the End of the Line Caboose.
This place in tucked away in a beautiful spot with a beautiful view. I had early morning coffee on the patio deck and was able to watch deer graze and play in the field across the way. There are also horses in that same field. It was a very peaceful environment, and we really enjoyed the quiet time spent at the caboose when we there and not out walking trails and exploring the area.
My husband and I would both highly recommend this place to family and friends!
The Caboose is a really super sweet spot to stay if your planning on going to Glacier National Park. 15 miles from the west entrance, so very easy to get to.
The host Dan and Amos (doggie) are very friendly. Amos loves to fetch and will show up with his ball at your door.
We only had two minor issues. One, the directions need to be updated. And two, we like to cook our own meals, and unfortunately the Caboose doesn’t have the proper equipment, i.e., no grilling utensils, only one small frying pan, and no oven. However, I may have missed the no oven prior to booking.
All in all, it’s a fantastic place, location was perfect. We just prefer to cook our meals.
Thanks Dan and Holly
This was such a cute place to stay. Super close to Glacier National. Woke up to deer each morning and when we came back in the evening they were out again!! Very peaceful, would definitely come back again or recommend to a friend!!
