Makowata Farm Summary

Summary:
Looking for an escape to a countryside farm? Makowata Farm provides an impeccable farmstay experience in peace and quiet for all its visitors! This farm stay QLD getaway is an organic farm with various domesticated life and bountiful growth. With an array of animals including sheep, cattle, geese, guinea fowl, chooks, and a dog, this farm has fruit trees and vines that complement the farm ecosystem as well. Feel the joy of walking around the farm and eating fruit hanging from the trees and vines. Here at Makowata Farm, we want to share our love, knowledge, and space to those that visit.

Leave the city and enjoy amazing sunsets and vast, shimmering night skies when you visit. This is the place for your next farmstay getaway!

The Space:
Makowata Farm is countryside bliss in the rural town of Lowmead, just a 45 minute drive to the coastal town of Agnes Waters. The tiny home at Makowata Farm is shaded under an enormous, ornamental fig tree, providing a covered comfort during the warmer months among the sub tropical weather of the area. It’s near to various local attractions such as Chinamans Beach, Deepwater National Park, Turkey Beach, Rules Beach and Bundaberg Botanic Gardens.

It's a comfortable, well-equipped tiny home with comfortable and well-furnished guest rooms, wide public spaces, and comfortable seating areas. Easy access to water, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities included.

The bathroom, however, follows ecologically sustainable principles, including an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and shower (gas heated for hot showers). It focuses on satisfying people's needs with natural resources and processes to save water by using eco-friendly toilets to save the environment.

If you plan to spend your farm stay QLD getaway here, we advise that you bring your basic necessities, such as food and water during your stay with us. Thank you.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the tiny house and the surrounding area except our private, main home. The shared accessible space includes the garden/backyard and the laundry washer.
There is also a second toilet in a separate area in a shed if needed.

Our property is a small farm, which people are welcome to enjoy. Do engage with us to understand our property prior to walking around. As cattle can kick and livestock is roaming around.

The Neighborhood:
Makowata Farm is surrounded by larger farms, we have a good relationship with them all. It’s a good base to explore seaside Agnes Waters, 45 minutes away, or Seventeen Seventy, another town by the sea. These are both renowned for their quaintness and beaches.

Our local recommendations:
