When we checked in the staff in the counter was friendly. But several mistakes. We have been offered a double room instead of the premium room with 3 beds, I had to requested and showed my booking. 2. No fridge in the room, only 2 towels and 2 tea cups, which I have requested for 3. 3. Toilet was filling too slow, shower was leaking. Requested maintenance to fix it. 4. We had the offer for room with breakfast for 2. Every day staff told us there was no offer for breakfast in the offer given to them by Expedia. There were poor communication between the hotel and Expedia. Very frustrating. I will never come back here or recommend to anyone. The management just need to look into minor issues. For example the refrigerator in my room was out of order. The guy knew, so instead of replacing it, he just brought another one and put it in the room. The breakfast is of poor quality. Juice is made not in a juicer but in a mixer by adding sugar syrup and ice. They don’t know how to prepare dosas. Most breads, 3 types all have sesame seeds. Why cannot you have just one with sesame. Those with allergy to sesame cannot have any of those. Billing takes ages, they quote in US$ but then instead of taking payment inUS$ they spend time converting to SLR and charging in Lankan Rupees. They do not have any power points in the rooms for charging devices or the kettle. You have to unplug the bedside lamps to charge your devices and use the kettle. Stains on the bad linens and the pool and pool area upstairs was not tempting. Rooms were comfy and we slept well on our rooms on 3rd and 4th floors (ie no big noisy from busy road). Især en oplevelse berørte mig meget. Jeg havde et billede med af min afdøde søn, som jeg satte på sengebordet med et lille lys. En dag da jeg kom tilbage til værelset efter en lang dag med sightseeing, står billedet på sengen med et pudebetræk formet som englevinger. Jeg var så rørt over det, at jeg helt glemte både at lægge en seddel og drikkepenge, da jeg skulle afsted næste dag. Jeg er meget taknemmelig for denne gestus.
