The first room we were shown stank of cigarette smoke and the carpet was dirty as if not hovered in ages. They sprayed with airfreshner but it did not help. The second room was small with double bed pushed against one wall. Unfortunately a new building has been set up next door. I'm sure if I opened the bedroom window I would have been able to touch the next wall. The restaurant and swimming pool are in the sister hotel the Pearl Grand next door. We asked to move our booking there but the manager next door was not helpful. We left within an hour of checking in. At least the manager of Pearl City was polite and offered to pay our taxi to our new hotel. Room was ok but wifi is not working at all. All other things were just fine.
