(952 reviews) We have been to St Martin 5 times, this being our first stay at Oyster Bay resort. We loved the property and its proximity to Orient Beach and Grand Case. The layout of the resort is great, with a beautiful infinity pool as well as access to the beach. Unfortunately, there was significant sargassum in the water and on the beach which is unusual for this time of year. We did rent a car so were able to visit and enjoy beaches that were not affected. There are two restaurants on site, each with different menus and reasonable prices. The hotel also offers happy hour daily with 2 for 1 drinks. With our reservation a continental breakfast was included daily which consisted of toast, croissants, coffee and juice. The downside of this was waiting on line in the morning at the Veranda to get it to go which was a slow process. Maybe having a continental breakfast area set up so guests can help themselves would make it easier to get their continental breakfast. Our room was clean and we were pleasantly surprised to find a large refrigerator with an icemaker. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our 10 day stay at Oyster Pond Beach Resort.
