Quiet and cozy
The main reason that we chose this location was because it was in the center of a couple of waterfalls that we wanted to see. My husband enjoyed fishing in the pond and we so enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the peace and quite.

It was absolutely breath taking. Everything was beautiful. The cabin was just so awesome and my family loved it ❤️. It had Everything that we needed. Extremely clean. The stars was so beautiful at night. Seen a family of deer on the property. Other family members came by to see the cabin. We had a absolutely amazing time. Mr..Earl was wonderful and a blessing to talk to. I will always go back there for any occasion. This was for my who just turned 81 and he was so happy with the cabin. He wanted to live there. We was there for a family reunion This was so special. Thank you to our host for having everything ready for us and making our family time together so Special ❤️. I can't Thank you enough.

This place was a gem in the woods. Very well kept. Good space. The beds were absolutely awesome. Front porch nice for sittin and sippin. A definite must if you’re staying in the area.

4th of July
We had a wonderful long weekend at the cabin. We explored a little river canyon and little river Falls visited family played in the Congo nature preserve swimming hole and thoroughly enjoyed the cabin. We will certainly be back.

It was a great little place! The cabin was very clean and comfortable! It was very well stocked and had everything you could think of needing! I very much enjoyed the porch until the bugs started to get me but hey that’s part of the country life! You won’t regret staying in this little cabin!

My husband, our 2 young boys and my mother stayed the weekend and had an amazing time! My 7 year old caught his first catfish and was thrilled!! It will be a core memory for him! The cabin was well appointed and extremely clean. We will definitely make it a point to come back!

Great Cabin !
Cannot say enough about how nice this cabin was ! Clean , very comfortable, quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already talking about staying again . We even caught some fish from the pond at the cabin ! This property is so private and absolutely beautiful. One of my favorite things was sitting on the front porch in the evening, listening to the crickets chirping and drinking coffee. I would give this place 10 stars if it was allowed.

Flea market get away
We totally enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Everything was just as described. Very nice and clean. Saw large fish swimming in pond by house and even saw a few deer on the last evening. The cat that came up was also very sweet and playful. There is a marked trail thru woods that leads you to a pretty little creek. Cabin is only 3 miles away from the Collinsville Trade Day (main reason for visit and worth going to). Overall, we had a great stay and would recommend this cabin to anyone wanting a peaceful, relaxing getaway.

Beautiful, relaxing getaway!
A well kept, clean, well stocked little cabin in the country with a pond out front and woods behind! There are beautiful waterfalls only 30 minutes drive from the cabin. We loved not having Wi-Fi. We still had cell service for phone calls but we wanted to get away from everything so it was wonderful for us! Ask the owner about their little country Church. We went and heard some good down to earth gospel preaching and down to earth wonderful Christian people! All in all a wonderful getaway. The Sasquatch with the dummies head by the pond might be a bit scary for little kids, 😉.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We would definitely go back.
We were surrounded by woods on three sides with a view of a pasture with cows from the front porch. The cabin was quaint and absolutely spotless. Everything was well stocked from towels to dishes.

We came in for the Talladega Race. We decided against a hotel after finding this cabin. It was a cute, peaceful cabin. We enjoyed being a le to drink coffee on the porch and enjoy nature. There was a nature trail out back We enjoyed walking. We didn't think to cconfirm wifi and this cabin didn't have it. We needed for school work. But was able to use a mobile Hotspot with AT&T. Was great though to disconnect from everything and relax. Short drive to Gasden for restaurants and shopping. Went to Fort Payne to Little River Canyon, Desoto State Park and Desoto Falls. We really enjoyed our stay!

Easy to find. Quite. No neighbors visible from the house. Plenty of usable outside space. Liked feeding the fish and turtle in the pond. The only glitch was we didn’t realize we didn’t have the door access code before arrival. We were able to text the owner with a quick response. If you like quiet down time, this fits the bill.

It was the perfect place for a quiet, secluded, short stay. It allowed me and my husband to unplug from the world and just rest. He fished the entire time. We had the opportunity to meet the owner. He was a very sweet man and even brought us a little welcoming treat.

Weekend getaway
This little piece of heaven is located perfectly between Gadsden and Fort Payne allowing for adventures in both areas. The hosts were easy to contact and even did follow up to make sure that we had everything that we needed. For those with electric vehicles there are third party charging stations in Fort Payne, and even a Tesla super charging station in Steele just south of Gadsden. Thank you Teresa for the great accommodations hope to visit again soon!

We had an awesome time feeding the fish and hiking. A beautiful area. You have to beware of scorpions. You can tell that they have tried to exterminate them. Honestly not surprising for a country home though. The beds weren't the most comfortable but for a bnb not horrible. I enjoyed our stay!

Lovely getaway from everyday living!
We first enjoyed this cabin on our honeymoon and were excited to come back on our 5th anniversary with our two kids. Just like stopping over at a friends home, it's cozy and inviting! To me, this is not the place to take a "trip" with a packed schedule, this is where you go for a vacation, to get away from all the things that normally pull our attention away from the little things. It's the type of place to curl up on the couch with popcorn and a movie, skip rocks on the pond, grill up some tasty steaks, watch your kids run and play in the yard and take leisurely country strolls. My daughter loved the children's books and giant checker set in the den as well as the quilts in the master bedroom. She and her brother enjoyed watching Mr Earl feed the cows, tossing beanbags in the cornhole game outside and eating our lunches on the picnic table in the backyard. The kitchen is fully stocked with every gadget or dish you could want. In our visits we have cooked a full steak dinner, made hash browns, baked cookies....etc and had every gadget and pan we needed. There are baskets of kitchen towels by the sink and the master bedroom cabinet has plenty of bath towels. That and the washer/dryer are very nice when traveling with little ones! Dollar General and a grocery store are just about 10-15 minutes away if you forget anything or didn't bring food. As for other things to do on your way in or out, the Space and Rocket Center in Huntsville and Cathedral Caverns are both about an hour away and worth the time :) Mr Earl and Ms Teresa are great hosts, we were glad to have the opprotunity to meet them on both trips. Our communication was always quick and we are planning to come again soon :)
