The Rittenhouse provided a perfect location for a wonderful Labor Day weekend. This was an extremely enjoyable stay from check in to check out. The staff was wonderful and the room was perfect.

It was difficult to gain access to the lobby upon our arrival. We arrived at the hotel around midnight. The front entrance was locked. We had to enter through the side parking garage which could only be access by the attendant who wasn't there. We gained access after another patron exited. After that the stay was comfortable. However, I was not a fan of the room's split bathroom. The split restrooms both should have had sinks.

The computer system went down when we were checking in. It took them 2 hours to get us a room and they gave other people who came after us rooms. I had to get angry to get a room. It took 5 minutes of running the water to get hot water. The bathroom door was hard to close. At brunch Saturday morning, the waffles and French toast were hard. However, the rooms were very clean and well appointed. The staff were generally very nice and helpful. Valet parking was great.

"Everything was great besides the bed and the air conditioning. The bed was super hard and the air conditioner is on a motion sensor for the day so when you get there the room is super humid. It stays on during the sleeping hours but takes a while to cool down."

"The worst staff especially one name Jose in front desk.. Our reservation through Expedia was for 5 people (2 adults and 3 kids) and, long story as short as can be, he kept saying after we’ve been checked in that the room cannot fit 5 people and that it’s a fire hazard and that the hotel is not responsible ..."
