We had a wonderful 3 night stay in this beautiful place. Our host, Dale, was so hospitable and accommodating and we definitely recommend staying here. The kitchen and living area offer a view of the river… just so peaceful. Everything inside was clean and welcoming. Thank you Dale!
This was an absolutely lovely rental. Thank you for keeping a very clean and well maintained property. Our older couple that was visiting could not say enough nice things about their stay. We will definitely book with you again in the future!
Perfect hosts if you want to be alone, or if you need help they are super accommodating. Every time we had a question they were quick to respond. The apartment was stocked extremely well and was perfectly clean. View was awesome from inside and plenty of places outside to take in the relaxing atmosphere.
Serene and beautiful location.
If you want to escape noise and crowds you will find peace and beauty here. You will also find delightful hosts who will meet all your needs and help direct you to enjoy all the amenities they have created for your enjoyment. Fishing on the river with our grandchildren was the highlight of our trip. VRBOs just don’t get any better than this!
We loved this comfortable, roomy apartment in natural setting for a one-month stay, from the large bed, large washer and dryer, full kitchen, table and chairs to the several throw blankets, cute decor and great pillows.
My husband just wanted to fish in a river for his first month of retirement and this was the perfect place. He caught lots of fish and spent time on thoughtfully-placed chairs enjoying the peace and quiet of the various private river spots on this property. We saw deer frequently, turkeys, cranes, chipmunks, birds and one day even a river otter. In this beautiful, large property, the host even set up the fire pit for us when our son visited, and the hot tub was welcome relief after hiking or playing golf a few miles away.
While there’s really no where to walk to off property, town is a short drive away. Within a half-hour drive is everything you could want to do including downtown Spokane. The host suggested riding the Hiawatha Trail (a little further away—Idaho) and it was a trip highlight.
Wi-Fi speeds were great for all the work i was getting done while my hubby fished. Hosts very responsive and kind.
The MIL suite was larger than i anticipated; it felt very spacious for a small unit, even for our family to pack into:
-The kitchen feels definitely sufficient in terms of size (pots/pans are limited, though), and the fridge was huge…we had no issues doing what we needed for meals, and storing food for all of us!
- the master bedroom was very comfortable and allowed room for a pack-n-play. There is a large walk-in-closet we used as a mini-room for our small kids to sleep in for naps and at night.
Access to the water is down a steep short path; kayaks were provided; boating the river was my favorite part of the experience! However, as the description says, it’s best suited for older kids…there is not an easy grade into the water, or a place for little ones to play; it’s just a ladder down into the deep(ish) water. Great for teens and older to cool down in though!
I loved how convenient this place was in terms of location too. We enjoyed our home base being in the country, but we frequented parks in Spokane too. For kids, there is a water park and playground 5 min away, and a wildcat zoo 5 min away as well.
Also, the house was super clean, and the hosts went above and beyond to help accommodate a need. We had a great time!
Beautiful, quiet spot, accommodating hosts, needed cookie tray, but didn’t ask. I expect the host would have brought us one if we had asked. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to stay in the area.
We used this as a launching point to check out many different sights around the area. The accommodations were perfect and had everything we needed, plus the view of the meadow couldn’t have been beat.
Dale was so helpful with info about the area. The property is truly a gem..... close enough to all kinds of activities but what a peaceful serene location!!! Raved about it to family and friends!!!

Beautiful setting and the place itself was as good as it gets. Mostly new and immaculate. Super comfortable bed!
We don't know how it could be more beautiful and accommodating . It felt like a home away from home and was beyond what we could have imagined. We already look forward to our next visit.
We absolutely loved our stay. It was so relaxing after a day with the grandkids. lol It was so wonderful to see nature at its finest. We will definitely be back. So close to Spokane and easy to get to.
We were in Spokane for a few days and were looking for an alternative to the chain hotels etc. What a find!! The property is absolutely beautiful with views of the river from the back patio! We enjoyed drinking our coffee while watching deer and wild turkeys near the river! The apartment is roomy with all the comforts of home and Dale is a welcoming host. He’s friendly and quick to accommodate guests with suggestions for restaurants and sights to see nearby! Would highly recommend!
Easy 5+ stars!! Beautiful property with sweeping views of the river and forested hills, with lots of wildlife and birds. The space was sparkling clean and nicely decorated with everything we needed. Dale was absolutely wonderful to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay, super friendly but also gave us space. We felt like we were at a private retreat! Great value for the price. We hope to come back again to this special place, if we are so lucky!
Great stay for a weekend in Spokane. Perfect setting to sit on porch and watch the wildlife. Clean and perfect amenities for a family of four. I would highly recommend the apartment! Dale was a great host as well. Thanks so much!
Very comfortable place very homie five day stay and no issues perfect for families property has a lovely lake. The property owner Dale is very helpful and was there to answer any questions that came up. The property is 6 to 10 min from all needed stores movies rivers and more great location. Thank u very much for all of your hospitality. We will totally return this place is awesome.
We flew into the area to see our daughter in an area show. The gorgeous property and serene views were what we needed after a very sudden, unexpected loss.
A treasure in an idyllic setting with wonderful hosts
This is a spacious, lovely property in a great location. There is wonderful scenery, quiet and wildlife viewing. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay worry free and fantastic. Highly recommend!!
Really enjoyed our stay here. The views of the trees and river were amazing. The accommodations were cozy and the hot tub an excellent treat. Dale was a wonderful host!
