I am a Marriott person so staying at this boutique was not idea at all. No amenities, coffee shop closed at 5 and no other places to go to get drinks or snacks.
Hotel was old and considered leaving the first night but the rest of the attendees stayed at the hotel and complained about tvs not working, AC not working and still going back and forth with my $15 per day credit.

I've been staying at the MPH for over 20 years. This last trip, the place felt a bit sad. There were understaffed in every way, from check-in to valet. The staff we did encounter were friendly though managing too many things at once. The first room we had was really run down, though they kindly upgraded us. Overall, we had a good stay, though the decline in service may keep me from coming back.
