Welcome to the Hilltop Lodge, a large home with a sprawling split-level deck just brimming with cultivated design and welcoming amenities. A short drive lands you at Honeysuckle beach on Hayden Lake or the Avondale Golf Course, and you're never far from the highway where you can access Coeur d'Alene to the south, or Silverwood and Sandpoint to the north. From the moment you walk in, this home-away-from-home envelopes you in comfort and style. The open concept living area boasts wood beams, leather seating, a large stone fireplace which serves as a grand focal point, beautiful windows, and a Smart TV tucked away in a the armoire. A few short steps across the hardwood floors is the dining area with a large table with seating for six and island seating for four. The kitchen wraps around this space with honey wood cabinets, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a warm tile backsplash. Around the corner you will find a half bathroom and the laundry room. A breakfast nook tucked in the corner provides additional seating for two and overlooks the beautiful upper deck. When you're ready to venture outside, you'll find 1,400 square feet of brand new deck overlooking Hayden Lake with a high-quality propane BBQ grill and plenty of comfortable seating and lounging where you can enjoy family time or bask in the late-night summer air. Back inside, the main level contains a beautiful office with custom wood built-ins, French doors, and plenty of desk space and strong Wifi for your important Zoom meetings. Continue down the hall to find the first full bathroom with a shower/tub combo and ample vanity space for morning prep. The first bedroom is right next door with a queen bed and closet to store your personal items. Across the hall, you'll find the primary bedroom with a king bed, a mounted Smart TV, leather seating, private access to the deck, and an ensuite bathroom with a beautifully tiled bathtub, walk-in closet, custom dual vanity, and large tiled shower. Travel down the stairs with the custom wood banister to the lower level where you'll find even more fun space in the large family room. With a Smart TV, seating, and a pool table, you'll have space for the whole family. A bathroom with a standing shower can also be found on this level, as well as a bedroom for the kids with two bunk beds, a futon, and a large walk-in closet to store the luggage. The house was extremely clean and well kept. We enjoyed cooking in the large and fabulously stocked kitchen, and spending time in the cozy open-attached great room. The warmth of the fireplace and beautiful furnishings throughout the house were appreciated by all of us. So many extra touches provided for guests! And the library was an added bonus! We did not utilize the basement area, but spent plenty of time on the large deck where we were able to take in the glorious view, relaxing and enjoying the company of our dear friends. I didn't realize how far back in the neighborhood it is which isn't necessarily a bad thing but when you're driving it is a lot of back and forth. A few of the doors are hard to get open upstairs and downstairs and nobody cleaned up the dog feces in the yard. It was everywhere whIt was everywhere which was a bit annoying since my dog was running around eating it all before I had to pick it up. ##### Raquel C. There was not any “equipment” for a baby, but we just brought it ! House was clean, well-equipped, there was space/bathroom for each couple, the decks/views were amazing and while it wasn’t right in town, it was just a short distance away. Quiet neighborhood, plenty of parking, great yard, easy access… This house was just perfect and if we are ever back in Coeur d’Alene, I will rent here again. ##### Joni S. Loved our stay! We loved staying at your home. It had a beautiful view of the lake and in a quiet neighborhood. We loved seeing the deer and turkeys around the house and on our walks. We had a great stay with our family and friends at the house for July 4th weekend. The view of Hayden Lake is absolutely beautiful, and the house was really well appointed and so comfortable, with a huge yard. It was a perfect location, only about 20 minutes to downtown Coeur d’Alene and maybe about 20-30 minutes to Silverwood. There were deer and wild turkeys all around, which we really enjoyed watching. The pool table was a great bonus, and we all had a great time playing pool together. We definitely would have loved to stay longer and spent more time paddle boarding on Hayden Lake. There are reasons that there aren't any outdoor photos of this property. I inquired about the parking situation only to be told exactly what the ad says. 2 car garage, 2 cars in the driveway. Well, not unless you own very small cars. And the driveway is a steep angle down towards the house. We had 2 crew cab pick-up trucks (one with an 8 ft. bed) and we could barely fit in the driveway. And we had to back into the driveway as neighbors would park their cars directly across from the driveway making it difficult to back out. Regarding the house. Per usual.....wide angle lens camera photos. The house is not roomy. It smelled very musty. The yard had knee deep grass with a couple of mowed paths through it. We didn't use the deck because who wants to view an unkept lawn. When we arrived the downstairs doors were unlocked so the men had to clear the house to make sure no one was inside before the rest of us could enter. The downstairs bunk room had to be used by adults as we didn't feel it was safe enough for a 4 & 5 yr. with the doors to the outside. The clothes dryer sounds like it's on it's last leg. There were no towels etc. in the downstairs bathroom. We booked this place after we needed to extend our local hotel reservation, but they were booked up so we decided to VRBO. We cannot recommend this property. It's very outdated and the musty smell was hard to take for 4 days. The price is ridiculous as is the cleaning fee. ##### Matthew F. Basement is basically unheated down stairs fireplace does not Have a fan so you don’t get much heat out of the fireplace. Basement shower is only warm!
