"⭐️⭐️ 2/5 – Great location and staff, but the hotel itself is very run down and the “pool” advertised no longer exists, they have access to a pool a 10-minute walk away. My family and I stayed here for 6 nights because we wanted a hotel close to the beach with a pool. Unfortunately, the photos on Expedia did not accurately reflect the condition of the property. Location: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Right in the center of town near restaurants, shops, bakeries, and a short walk to the beach. We always felt safe walking around. Staff: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The front desk staff were extremely kind and helpful. They quickly brought us extra towels, fixed our shower head, and even carried a mini fridge up to our room. Rooms/Property: ⭐⭐ The building and rooms felt very run down with broken fixtures, dirty walls, and general wear and tear. Amenities: ⭐ The pool pictured doesn’t exist and the pool you have access to is **not onsite** as advertised—it’s about a 10-minute walk away and appeared to be under maintenance during our stay, so we never used it. The “free breakfast” is also offsite across the street with very limited options. Overall: The staff and location were great, but if I had known the true condition of the property and that the pool wasn’t actually onsite, I would have chosen to spend a little more for a nicer hotel."

"The Palms At Coco Beach is a reasonably priced property that offers a number of benefits. Two minute walk to the beach, nice outdoor restaurant and pool area. The staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our room was clean, but basic... more than sufficient for those who are outdoors and on the move all day. Bed was comfortable and clean."

"This is a wonderful hotel. They organised our transfer from the airport and we were able to buy breakfast when we arrived and use the pool until our room was ready in the afternoon. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and 20 minute walk to the town, although there are lots of restaurants closer. The staff were very friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. We would highly recommend Hotel Villa Del Sol."

"Our stay at Casa Timlin in Costa Rica was absolutely incredible—easily a 5-stars-plus experience and one we will never forget.The highlight of the property is undoubtedly the infinity pool and hot tub, which overlook a breathtaking view of the water. Whether it was morning coffee, an afternoon swim, or watching the sunset from the hot tub, the view never got old. It truly felt like our own private slice of paradise.The location is also fantastic. The house has easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants, which made exploring the area simple and fun. The walk back up to the house is a bit steep, but honestly it just made returning to the stunning views at the top even more rewarding.A huge thank you to Tim, the host, who was incredibly accommodating. He responded quickly to any questions and was so easygoing and helpful throughout our stay. It made the entire experience seamless and stress-free.We also have to give special recognition to Reyna, the extraordinary housekeeper. She kept the home absolutely spotless, prepared three delicious meals for us, and always greeted us with a warm smile. She truly made us feel at home and completely spoiled us during our stay.lan, the concierge, answered our questions promptly and arranged smooth and seamlesstransportation to and from the airport.Everything was handled perfectly, which allowed us to relax from the moment we arrived.Casa Timlin perfectly captures the spirit of Pura Vida-beautiful surroundings and relaxation. "Geat sunset views. On hill overlooking Coco beach. Nice pool. Extremely well equipped kitchen. OK showers. Washer and dryer worked. AC adequeate but noisy. House is for sale and needs some work. For example, none of the windows or patio doors lock and a piece of wood is used to secure the panes. The host instructions are to leave nothing ofvalue visible because of petty crime; though I never felt worried about the area, it would have taken no effort to open these panels. Pool light ishanging from a cord; thankfulky it does not seem to be connected to power. Manager ( Francisco) is always helpful."

"Had the best time at this beachside hotel. Very quaint with only a handful of rooms that are all steps to the ocean. The food was fabulous and the area was safe and walkable to other fabulous restaurants. Coco was our favourite beach, calm waves, beautiful sandy swimmable ocean! And best of all no one trying to sell you crap on the beach! Very walkable beach, we loved everything "
