"If I could give Casa Timlin more than 5 stars, I absolutely would.I have been traveling and booking accommodations through VRBO for well over 10 years, and without question, this was the best experience I have ever had. We travel frequently and have stayed in countless vacation homes, resorts, and rentals in different cities and countries, but nothing has come close to the experience we had at Casa Timlin.From the very beginning, Tim was exceptional. His communication was outstanding even before we booked the property. He was responsive, helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure we had everything we needed. He answered questions promptly, provided recommendations, and made us feel comfortable long before we arrived. Once our trip was confirmed, his level of service only got better. He even helped coordinate transportation from the airport to the house, making our arrival completely stress-free.When we finally arrived at Casa Timlin, we were blown away. The property is beyond breathtaking. The views are absolutely stunning, and the home itself looks like something straight out of a movie. Every room feels thoughtfully designed, and every detail contributes to the overall experience. The pictures are beautiful, but they still don't fully capture how incredible this place is in person.What made this stay so special wasn't just the house itself—it was the entire experience. Casa Timlin truly embodied everything we imagined Costa Rica to be."

"The room was clean, and the staff were all helpful and friendly. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order, with multiple options available. The hotel is located next to Coco Beach, and there are many sodas and restaurants, stores nearby. Enjoyed my stay there"

Hotel Villa Del Sol

"Loved being surrounded by the jungle. Short walk to the beach. Good air conditioning. The staff were friendly and kind. The cooked breakfast was a nice treat. The staff offered portable "beach" chairs, but they weren't really beach chairs, more like chairs used for an outdoor concert. We were expecting Tommy Bahama style beach chairs. This was our only disappointment."

"Sharon at reception was exceptional. She was very thorough, informative and even assisted me with booking shuttles and tours. The property was gorgeous, clean and well maintained. So many pools and maintenance workers upkeeping the exterior. The walk to the Java coffee shop/Wave restaurant is 5 minutes and about 15 minutes to downtown which has many gift shops, restaurants and grocery stores. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe in Coco Beach, as the locals WANT to help you. Golf cart rental is availiable and I would reccomend as walking is nice, but in +38 temperatures it can be a little challenging. Thank you T.G."

"Excellent property! The pool was well maintained and we enjoyed it. Melina was great! I recommend having her book your airport transportation as it couldn’t have been any easier. She also answered any questions we had very quickly. It’s close the main road with shopping and restaurants, but I recommend renting a golf cart to get around. Will definitely save this property for next time!"

"We have just finished a week's vacation at the hotel. It should be noted that the property is very beautiful, with an amazing view of the sea, but there are a few minuses that are important to note. The hotel is built of several parts on different levels and it is very inconvenient to walk from the rooms to the pool and restaurants. Yes, there is a golf cart shuttle service, but you have to call to reserve. We were there during a period when the weather was very hot, very humid, in the restaurant that functions as a dining room, the air conditioning is almost not noticeable, so it is unpleasant to eat there, the kitchen is not run efficiently, the dishes are delayed much longer than normal. Although the hotel is very, very expensive, the spa is not included in the price, using the sauna costs a hundred dollars per person per day, simply outrageous. There are no umbrellas in the pools and it is difficult to avoid the strong sun."

"Incredible experience! Could not have been better! Highly recommend!Francisco was kind and helpful from the first email right after we booked to the day we checked out. The house is spectacular and they thought of everything you could ever want down to the yoga mats. The view is breathtaking! Highly recommend the option for breakfast (for an extra charge and worth every penny- Emma and David were amazing). We will be back!"
