"Perfection! The cottage was spotless. Amy thought of and provides all of your basic needs and then some compared to other properties that I have stayed. If you want to relax and de-stress, this is the place. The screened in back porch was where I stayed the majority of the time. The Mentone Market is a great place to stop on the way to the cabin to get premade salads, sandwiches, pimento cheese, or chicken salad. I am already planning to go back soon."

"This place is wonderful for our 2 night stay in Mentone. The host provides directions and instructions to follow to make your arrival and stay as easy and helpful as possible. The home is super cute with parking right at the front door (with just 1 step entry). The main bedroom has a queen bed, desk, and TV and it's right next to the bathroom. The 1 Bathroom is sufficient with a tub/shower combo. Mom slept in the bedroom and I took the loft (which has 2 twin beds) - Beds were very comfortable and all the linens were nice and soft. Good Pillows Too! TV works with streaming apps which were easy to operate (Hulu, Netflx, etc). Internet was fast and always available and we could use our Verizon Iphones on Internet Calling. Living room has comfortable furniture. It was hot outside so we were inside most of the time and did not use the hottub or firepit or grill but there is a Large screened patio and plenty of outdoor seating. Nice full kitchen with new appliances. Nice and Clean! The location is great - we liked that we had plenty of outdoor space but did not feel too secluded ( you can see a couple houses from this house), so we felt safe the whole time. we hope to come back in the fall or spring time."

"We had a family event in AL and decided to stay at this small, cute cabin to break up the drive. During our stay, we saw a couple of deer, and a couple of meteors and milky way on the first night. SE, above, and partial W view of the sky. NE view from entrance of driveway. Trees on horizon, We visited Desota falls, a canyon, and a restaurant nearby. Space to back up to turn around to get out of driveway."

"Deerwood cabin was very nice. Rustic. Just what my husband & I needed for a weekend getaway. We saw several deer in the back woods behind the cabin. Everything was there that we needed upon arrival. Love the vintage inspired appliances."
