"The room was comfortable and clean, the towels were a little rough and you could hear people outside and some talking in the room. We were not happy that other guests the morning of checkout emptied the ice by filling their coolers and breakfast was all bread (toast, muffin, waffle, cereal) there were tiny yogurt cups but no protein and the eating area very small. Obvious a older bldg that could use some addtl upgrades. "

"Historical Hotel in a beautiful location. The sunset views from the tower were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very nicely decorated and clean. We were planning to stay one night, but stayed a second night!!!"

"Did not stay. Rooms smelled like smoking. Allergic to smoking. Also pool not open. Was not told pool would not be filled. They said we would not be charged for leaving."

"Check in time, as stated on the website, was 3:00 PM. We arrived shortly after 3:00 PM, only to be told that our room was not available yet and to check back in about 30 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes in the lobby area and checking back with the front desk attendant, we were told that they had not started cleaning the room, and to check back in about another 30 minutes. Finally, after waiting over an hour, we were told our room was available for our check in. It was unfortunate that we had to wait so long for our room after traveling all day to get to our destination. No one offered us an alternative room, a discount for the inconvenience, or any amenities while we waited in the lobby. I had to ask if coffee or tea was available while we waited for our room to be cleaned for our check in. We were very unsatisfied with the extended amount of time it took to get our room and will consider other accommodation alternatives for our next stay in the area."
