Clonakilty Blackpudding Visitor Centre

This unique and beautiful location felt like a true Irish hospitality experience. The grounds are old but very well maintained and preserved. Walking around the main house was one of my favorite things to do. The stone steps that lead to different houses, cottages, and buildings are very cool. Geraldine and her staff are extremely organized and easy to connect with. If you want a peaceful, magical experience this is a wonderful place to feel like you’ve gone back in time.

I love this hotel. All of the staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient. They do a lovely buffet breakfast providing anything I can imagine, including a gluten free section. It is convenient for Cork city but also Crosshaven and other areas popular with visitors. I highly recommend it

We loved this property. It was nestled on a hill overlooking Cork and had lovely views from both of its beautiful bar and eating areas. Our room was one of the more modest rooms but was lovely. It was clean comfortable and had a great bathroom and shower. They also left a small bottle of wine for us to enjoy on our arrival which was a lovely touch. The parking was easy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We had dinner in their main restaurant at night and the food and wine was very nice. We also loved our pre and post dinner drinks on the balcony. They had a concierge that took our bags to our room which was also helpful. This is an exceptional hotel in a place you may not expect. It was such a lovely surprise to us and we would definitely recommend this property.
