The staff were great!

Cindi Liu our room attendant was great value and an awesome ambassador for the hotel. The breakfast was very good value and overall our stay was great.

The staff are really exceptional. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and honestly have their guest's interests in mind. Our room was comfortable, we had a great view, and we were able to take advantage of the VIP benefit. Thank you very much! From now on, this is our hotel of choice for any future stay in San Francisco.

The first room we were offered stank of stale smoke! After complaining we were offered another room next door, which was fine. Rooms were large and a very comfy bed. The desk staff were fine, but one of the Door men was about as miserable as you can get! Sandra, the concierge was wonderful, helpful and friendly. the roof top area is OK, but think they should replenish the coffee pots more regularly, tasted stale. The sauna and jacuzzi areas were nice and well stocked. Our first night we turned right out of the hotel and in 5 minutes were in the middle of homeless land, full of druggies and gangs of very intimidating people. I wish we had been warned of this by the hotel, it was pretty scary! But turn left or go straight over towards Union Square and its a different world!

Overall quite good hotel for family stay

We enjoyed talking to the staff, very friendly. Very clean rooms, gym could use a little wiping down on machine handles a little sticky. Loved the stay, one comment would be nice to have had blackout shades because the lights outside the room were coming in from the garden area and prefer darker sleeping conditions. I do recommend staying here though.
