"We enjoyed our stay. The cottage was nicely decorated and very clean. We had what we needed to cook and be comfortable there. The back yard was so beautiful and we enjoyed relaxing on the deck. There was lots of wild life surrounding the lake - we even observed a Bald Eagle - the provided binoculars helped too. We were close to the Ohio to Erie bike path and enjoyed riding bikes into Akron. The host communicated well and we had a very relaxing time."

"Stayed here for a work trip with a coworker, it had great relaxing views, easy quick walk to a few restaurants and had quick access to local highways. Coming back to sit by the lake after a day of work was like a vacation when we weren’t on vacation. Beds were very squishy and comfortable. And had good AC. Game room was super cool and we were able to watch some playoff basketball on the projector. We were surprised at how nice the area was in general. Highly recommend."

"My college friends and stayed here for a short weekend trip. It was a very nice and clean house. The property manager stayed in communication and was very helpful. We also hiked at Cuyahoga Valley NP which is only about 25-30 minutes away from the house. Over all we had a great experience and we would stay there again in the future!"

"Bigger than we thought from looking at pictures. Was so nice that the host supplied shampoo conditioner and body wash for both, male and female. The host was very kind and accommodating. Not to mention the cute town you sit basically in the middle of! We’ll book again!"

"We've stayed at many Vrbo and other properties. This was one of the nicest ones by far. We're used to bringing soaps, TP, garbage bags,etc but this house was fully stocked. Dan really thought of everything! There were even dog bowls and a leash! I noticed too that many of the property owners keeps decorations to a bare minimum, out of fear of theft I'm guessing. Not so here. There were decorative vases, pictures, chatchkies, even a large light up globe -- all of which i really appreciated. Good...

"Rented this place over Christmas holiday for for extended family to stay while in the area visiting parents. Very clean, newly renovated, lots of room, sleeps 8. In a great location close to groceries, shopping, national park, Hudson, Peninsula, Kent, Akron. Would definitely stay again the next time we are in town."

"Great remodel, but plumbing gurgles loudly with storm through sink in kitchen, loud enough to wake you up at 2:00 am. The furnace is very loud and when shuts off and on you can feel it through the floor and is extremely loud going on and off line it’s breaking. I sent a recommendation to the owner. They also have stock responses that are a bit off with responses…."

"The cottage was very nice. Beds and showers were good. Lacking some kitchen items, i.e. dish towels, pots/pans. The grounds were very overgrown and outdoor chairs needed repair or new ones. The location of the cottage was wonderful. Very nice view from everywhere as long as the neighbors didn't have their camper next door. All in all a great stay."
