Plenty of supplies and very clean. Only thing missing on both my stays was bath soap and Kleenex, both of which we travel with anyway. Really love this place.

Quick Getaway

My wife and I actually live close by but wanted a “date night” away from the kids and hustle and bustle of daily life. We had a peaceful, quiet evening in the house. The house was very clean, equipped with everything we needed to prepare a great meal - the gas grill did a wonderful job on our steaks! We would stay here again!

Had a wonderful time. The cottage was perfect for us and the location was fab! We were 6 minutes from our friends' campsite. Really enjoyed our time and the guys gobbled up all the sweet treats!! Thank you so much!!

Perfect cottage!

Every detail was paid attention to from the decorations to the added comforts of extra blankets and pillows. Coffee bar and snacks were provided. It was just fabulous in every way. We will be back!

Mellow Yellow is delightful!

Our stay at the Mellow Yellow cabin was wonderful. Other than a little confusion finding the correct road to cabin (sign was high up under tree limbs) a very friendly neighbor gave us directions! Cabin felt so cozy and secluded yet was minutes away from grocery stores, restaurants, and the lake. Owners were very responsive and made us feel very important. We can highly recommend staying here.

Late Summer Get Away

What a great experience and get away location. Tucked away in the trees with easy access to the lake and everything you could ever want in a friendly town. The covered porch was a perfect place to enjoy a cool morning coffee and changing leaves. We look forward to coming back. The house is decorated for comfort and was staged to make guests feel welcomed and comfortable. A great way to enjoy a froendly and beautiful state. MH

We stayed at the Mellow Yellow Cottage while attending a wedding and events at The Barn at Greers Ferry. Our host, Toni, was very responsive to all my questions. I am disabled from a car wreck and she had new sod laid- this made my walking easier with my cane. The cottage was perfect for the two of us with all the amenities as described in the descriptions. We will stay here again if we are back in the are. Thank you Toni!

Cute cabin in the woods. Very homey, comfortable and inviting. Decorated well. Most everything you need was provided. The shower was a bit small and no hair dryer was available. The kitchen was pretty well equipped. Be aware there is no oil, Pam, Saran wrap or tin foil. Loved the front porch. There is a swing, grill, table and chairs. There is also a small free standing fire pit. The property has lots of trees and there was always a nice breeze flowing. The owners were very responsive in their communications with us. We really enjoyed our time here.

Cozy, welcoming cottage! 5 stars!

My husband and I were delighted to find this cozy cottage for a Sept 2024 family wedding, held at the nearby “Barn at Greers Ferry” venue-only 20 minutes away! The cottage is charming, clean, and welcoming-making you feel like an anticipated guest with special touches, (like snacks, bottled water, coffees & creamers, and special embroidered “makeup” washcloths). The hosts lovingly maintain their cottage with current updates, decor, & comforts of home with cozy throws, plenty of linens, nice tvs, and a stocked kitchen for simple meals. You can eat indoors at the table or if the weather is nice, (like our weekend), you can dine outside at the lovely front porch table, where the hummingbirds may entertain you with their territorial antics over the feeder. :) Nice neighbors live nearby-close enough where you feel safe but far enough away that you have plenty of privacy. The cottage is also well lit outside at night, (fun cafe lights on the front porch, plenty of porch lights, & floodlights), which is perfect for taking your pet to potty before bed or sitting outside on the porch swing enjoying the peace & quiet. Check in and out is extremely simple and the hosts are quick to respond with communication if needed. We loved our 3 night stay and would consider it a treat to stay here again!

This cottage is beautiful. My pups and I had the best time. If you are needing a peaceful getaway this is your place. We visited the Bluffton Preseve and hiked. This is a must see!! I didn’t eat out one time. The cottage is well stocked with everything you need. am already planning a trip back.

Quiet, serene, beautiful.

Beautiful, cozy cottage, with everything you might need to get off the grid, and relax. A bit off the beaten path, not ideal for a 2 seat roadster, but amazing sights, and fantastic nights of slumber.
