Clifton H. Lee Memorial Park

Check in was smooth and hotel is conveniently situated for central Manhattan. Lots of bars and restaurants within a few blocks. Hotel is very basic and quite run-down (peeling paint, rusty radiators etc) but very clean on arrival nonetheless. We were surprised that the room wasn't cleaned during the day and towels weren't replaced (our stay was for four nights) but the kitchenette was adequately equipped for making breakfast and packed lunches (not sure how it would fare cooking a full meal though). Overall it was perfectly fine for a few days of sightseeing and good value for money, if you don't need luxury.

Happy to have booked this hotel. Stay was extremely comfortable and pleasant. Staff was friendly and supportive. Location was convenient and close to some landmarks and restaurants that I wanted to explore. I'd recommend this place and would like to stay here again!
