Located literally in the centre of Clifden town, you'll be surprised how peaceful it is, given its terrific location. Clifden, known as the capital of Connemara, is known as one of the most picturesque and vibrant tourist towns in the country. Clifden is set in between the coast of the Atlantic Ocean and the Twelve Bens. It is a bustling market town surrounded by magnificent scenery and full of an array of shops, pubs, restaurants, and cafes. It is a popular destination spot with lots to do such as championship golfing, cycling, hill walking, fishing, pony trekking, boat trips, visit our national park and castle ruins. It is simply a must visit destination on the renowned Wild Atlantic Way, Legendary Irish poet Oscar Wilde put it best when he famously described Connemara as a “Savage Beauty”. From its beautiful scenery, amazing beaches, incredible tourist attractions and amazing pub and restaurant scene, Clifden is the perfect place to unwind, let loose and enjoy all that the West of Ireland has to offer! Facilities: 2 Bedrooms – Sleeps 4\. This natural light filled property has a spacious living/dining/kitchen with 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. It sleeps 4 guests in total. (1 x King size Bed and 2 x Single Beds). It is meticulously decorated to a high standard, specifically for holiday accommodation, providing you all the amenities you'll need. The living area has large 4-seater fabric L-shaped sofa, so everyone has a comfy seat from which to watch TV. You can even login to your Netflix account through the smart TV! Of course, there is high-speed Wi-Fi available throughout the property. The full-service kitchen has an oven, touch sensitive hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, and dishwasher. New Cutlery, crockery, and all cooking utensils are supplied. These is also a Krups premium coffee machine for the coffee lovers out there! The main bedroom has a double bed, and the fitted wardrobe will hold all your clothing bedside tables, lamps cosy cushions and throws combine to make things a little more homely. The 2nd bedroom is a bright, vibrant, relaxing space with two large single beds and ample storage. There is pay and display parking outside but fear not, there is a free public car park only 150 metres away. There is a cot and highchair available for your stay, this however must be flagged in advance. Spacious, spotless and comfortable. As a holiday let, it worked out very well for our family of four. Only thing to take into account is that the view out of all windows is onto other properties or concrete walls but the living area does get lovely light in. There isn’t any privacy in bedrooms as others could walk by close to the window, however, we only saw one or two people in our 3 night stay. It didn’t bother us because we were out all day and just pulled down bedroom blinds in evening. The location and comfort of the apartment more than make up for the lack of a nice view. There is access to a roof terrace if needed. ---
