Short stay.
My family was in town for a wedding. Very quiet at the house. We enjoyed the wildlife , and the the house itself. Would recommend staying here. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Great getaway with family
The cabin was clean first of all and the appliances worked. We didn't get to use the hot tub because it was cold but it looked inviting. the area was quiet and walking around area was great. Will definitely be back.

Peaceful.
This cabin was picked because it was near Helen Georgia. Although it's several miles from Helen I actually enjoyed the beautiful drive to and from the cabin to town. The cabin is perfectly situated in a beautiful wooded area with an actual deer crossing in the back. We were able to see a herd of deer foraging for food! I would stay here again.

Perfect weekend getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The fire pit, hot tub and pool table were the family favorites! Although not a very big house, we had plenty of space for the 9 of us. The house was clean and the kitchen well equipped. We would definitely consider going back!

Lovely cabin
It's a large cabin with bedrooms on all three levels. The cabin is well equipped and furnished. Check in was easy and the host provided detailed instructions and directions) Our family enjoyed having the games, pool table and firepit (would recommend bringing your own wood and firestarter). The nearest grocey is 6 miles from the property ( would recommend a stop at Engles before heading to the cabin.)

Long family weekend
My husband and I have 3 adult children (1 married), so this 4 bedroom cabin was perfect for all of us. There were a few minor problems with the cleanness of the cabin, nothing that would keep me from coming back. The only big problem was the gravel road leading to the property. It is short, but a portion of it was so bad we had to drive less than 5 miles an hour.

Cabin weekend
Liked the isolated area even though there were cabins near by. Cabin was clean well accommodated. We like the look and ambiance of the location. There were a couple worrisome things. A big deal was made about the felt on the pool table and being responsible for damage in the rental agreement. Upon arrival the balls were racked, cues were crossed on table but there was a damaged spot on felt. We never used the table or reported it, my son did take a picture though. I could see where the road in could be challenging for some, pretty rough. We had no issues 4WD pickup. Overall a great stay and would stay again.

We stayed with our family and this place was as advertised in the photos . Very quick communication and assistance with our questions . The house was very clean and so was the hot tub which we really enjoyed .

Weekend Getaway
This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. The 4 of us couples stayed here comfortably all weekend without any problems at all. The house had everything we needed. The beds were comfy and the hot tub was very relaxing. Will definitely stay here again!

Cool Weather Getaway
This was a quick family getaway of three nights with kids, parents, and the 2 fur babies. The house had every convenience we needed and even some extras. We enjoyed the fireplace, the hot tub, the pool table, the fire pit, and the grill. We had a Christmas movie night on Netflix and took day trips around the area. This is a great place to have some mountain time. Leisurely pace with a nice place to rock on the porch.

Perfect Getaway
My friends and I rented the cabin to attend the Wine Highway. The location was perfectly situated near some of my favorite wineries. The communication from the property manager before the trip was great. I received all of the information needed for the stay. I even had a question to which they promptly responded to. The cabin was exactly as it looks in the pictures. It was very, very clean! We had everything we needed to make the stay comfortable. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet place to recharge and relax.

The cabin was perfect for our family of 5 plus our dog. Located close enough to Helen to go do things but far enough out to be peaceful. Lots of deer sightings.

Deer Crossing cabin
It was a pretty cabin but much further from Helen than I wanted. No water hooked up to fridge so no ice or filtered water, just tap, so had to buy alot of bottled water. The 2 downstairs beds were creaky and uncomfortable. Directions for getting the master shower to run hot water are needed. Pots and pans were in very poor shape for cooking meals. Take your own fry/sauté pan if u plan to cook! Outdoor furniture on porch dirty. Poison ivy galore around property so we did not do any hiking and never saw the trout pond nor the garden trail listed on the website. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Good and bad.
The best things about this cabin was the location- it was close to the wineries we wanted to go to. As well, there were some nice walking trails in the neighborhood. The other thing we most enjoyed was the fire pit because it had plenty of seating. The reason I would not book with this cabin or company again is: we left some items at the cabin and were not able to get them back. The policy said there's 14 days to reclaim anything left behind.....we notified the cabin 2 days after our stay and were told it was thrown out. I feel like if you leave a bunch of personal items accidentally, then it should be assumed you will be reaching out to get those items...but that was not the case with this rental. I feel like it was finders keepers. The other things that could use improvement: more seating on the back porch, and there were some dead bugs in the loft area, and it would be nice if there were some extra towels to use for the hot tub, rather than having to use the same towel you use for showering.

Loved staying here. The cabin was amazing! It was just what we were looking for for our weekend getaway. It was about a 15-20 minute drive to Helen which is such a silly little town. My only complaint would be that it needs to be deep cleaned. Lots of dust and webs up in the ceiling. But didn’t see any bugs which was my biggest fear staying in the woods. Would def go back.

We did have some minor issues. The oven did not work nor did the toaster. We also didn't have Direct TV until the last night. The pool table is in bad condition. We unfortunately couldn't use it due to its felt. The property is lovely with lots of room. Hot tub was great. Everyone really liked the property. It is a 20 minute drive to Helen.

Family Getaway Weekend
The property was clean when we arrived. The cabin is very spacious. The road to get to the cabin can be intimidating, especially if you are not accustomed to driving in steep dirt roads; we would not leave the cabin or drive at night.

Location, location, location
7 of us stayed at the cabin to ring in the New Year and the accommodations were perfect for us. My husband and I who organized the trip stayed on the main level. My niece and her boyfriend both 30 stayed in the suite on the 3rd level which afforded them privacy from the "old people." Our friends stayed on the basement level and this allowed them a private suite as well to enjoy. We hiked around the mountain and saw deer. We were close to multiple vineyards and a short drive to Helen where we were able to enjoy the Alpin Village. There was a Christmas tree for the holiday. A fireplace for chilly nights and a firepit outside. All of this at a very affordable price too!

Hurricane in Georgia Mountains!
Who knew a hurricane would have such an impact on a cabin in the north Georgia mountains. No power or running water did not stop our group from having a wonderful time. The cabin company was very responsive and ended up giving us a full refund. They handled everything to the best of their abilities and we certainly appreciated their generosity! Thanks!

Amazing family vacation spot
We had an amazing stay at Deer Crossing. We had everything needed for cooking and entertainment. The cabin was meticulously cleaned (including the hot tub). The property is centrally located to so many fun outdoor activities. My family of 4 stayed on the main level/ upstairs and another family of 4 visited us and stayed in the basement level (2 bedrooms and a bath). We had plenty of room to spread out. I highly recommend this cabin.

Perfect getaway
The location of this cabin was perfect. We chose this cabin because of how close it is to Yonah Mountain Vineyards. It was only about a 10 minute drive. I really like how the cabin is in the woods and the road to it is gravel. That made everyone feel like they were really getting away. Thank you.
