"The cabin has a rustic feel and is decorated with historical photos, which gives it a certain charm. The kitchen appliances are a bit dated but fully functional. The beds creak a little, but otherwise—like the rest of the furniture—they serve their purpose. There could be a bit more space for clothes and suitcases if closet and cabinets were utilized more effectively. Although the lakeside location is separated from the water by Lakeshore Road, the setting remains very quiet and idyllic—perfect for unwinding. The prickly pears growing by the lake tasted delicious in our muesli. All in all, we were happy with our choice. We didn’t go fishing but it certainly very possible."

"I appreciated how clean everything was. I was glad to have a refrigerator and microwave. I didnt care for the coffee. I was going to get some from the office Kureg but the office was closed. I ended up going to buy another pillow from Walmart for my husband because he needs 2. Overall I liked the Travel Lodge and will stay there when I come back to town."

"The cabin was clean and cozy. The property was easy to access with plenty of parking space! The BBQ area was awesome, we grilled both nights! The pool was clean and towels were available pool side. The property was dog friendly and fully fenced in. Our pup had a great time too! We would defiantly come back! Wifi was good also. Kitchen was minimally stocked, but we made it work! Safeway is close and normal pricing to our local Safeway. If you are looking for a quiet get away, this is a great place to stay!"

"Place was lovly,clean and very relaxing listening to the water crashing back and forth troughout the day and night. The host Ben and Maureen were top tier ... pretty place to hang out if you want to fish in the area with some great food choices near by .. Ron the downstair guru was super friendly and informative.. This was my first time fishing in clear lake and from my experience here it want be the last ......Totally satisfied .. Ill be bacccck!!!!"
