We had booked multiple rooms only to find out there were no rooms for us. The hotel did not notify us in advance that the Travelocity booking was unable to be satisfied. Needless to say this is a huge problem if rooms cannot be confirmed and held when an active Travelocity itinerary appeared as though rooms were confirmed

The name of the place made me skeptical but it was the only accommodations available for our one night stay. It is also for sale so I wondered about the upkeep. The room was very basic but clean. They had a coffee maker but no coffee.

We checked in and went to our room and were very disappointed. The room looked pretty clean but there was a used bath towel in the bathroom and only one clean towel. They quickly brought another towel and removed the used one. Only one chair in the whole room and no table or desk . We went out to get a bite to eat and when we came back we loaded up our belongings and left. Would not recommend.

Our room was cozy and clean. The shower was GREAT!!! I’d definitely stay here again when I come to town to see a show at the Surf!!!!

Rumorz is a quiet friendly place.
Bed was comfortable, room was quiet with minimal street noise. Nice neighborhood for a walk with the lake about a block away. A state park was fairly close to the property.

I was very happy with the room. It was extremely hot while we stayed there and the air conditioner kept up. Check in and out was very quick and simple, the gal that checked us in was very friendly! I also like that there is a bar/restaurant across the parking lot that is clean, cool and good food.

Nice check in attendant. Clean room and best shower ever in a hotel. Great location and good bar and grill across the lot. Great donut shop a block away too! South Dhore Donut Co. I would stay here again

Very nice place to stay. Rooms are very clean. Manager is very pleasant. We have stayed here a few times and will continue to do so in future visits to Clear Lake.

Amazing hotel- pictures don't do it justice
The hotel is amazing. The pictures on the outside of the hotel make it look like it is not the best hotel quality, but the rooms themselves were incredible. The soaps are all "stress relief" from bath and body works (which are expensive soaps), and the flooring you can tell was recently redone. The beds were very comfy too. I really, really loved my stay here and would definitely come back.

New, clean and nice except for air conditioning.
Light weight drapes caught the airstream from the non adjustable discharge of the air conditioner and directed it to the person lying in bed (even with fan at low speed). The only alternative was to turn the fan off which was intolerable.

Nice hidden getaway away from chain hotels
Will definitely stay again if in the area to take advantage of nearby beach and lake area. If you are looking for something fancy, this isn't for you. If you want a nice no-frills getaway, this is a great place in a small quiet community.

Unexpected treasure for mini getaway!
Not sure what to compliment first! We had the best sleep on this bed, actually slept in past 8:00! The room is just as pictured-comfortable, simple and recent renovations were great! fridge held all our goodies, Keurig was awesome! If you're into boating this is a great spot for overnight w/ electricity. Only cons were: doors slam so you hear neighboring rooms banging; room wasn't stocked with essentials but they had new employees and the lobby is steps away so no biggie! We have made this our go-to mini wkd getaway spot!

Quiet getaway
We wanted a quiet overnight stay. Clear Lake is a lovely town and the motel fit the town very well. We would stay again.

nice overnight stay for concert at Surf Ballroom
was pleasantly surprised, very comfortable beds, freshly remodeled, will definitely stay again when in town for concerts at the Surf Ballroom. Only a few miles from there. Great stay and the Bar and grill next door has awesome food.

A wonderful place that felt personal & caring.
I don't understand why when I click excellent on the survey questions it lights up everything. Let me make it clear, we wanted to come back this summer & we are on a waiting list. I give it 5 stars for the service, cleanliness & friend- Iiness. Great location. Not new, but recently renovated. Tanya is awesome. Love the town and had so much fun at the Surf Ballroom Winter Dance Party.

Nice room spent with a great girl, wish the week never ended was close to getting but stuff...maybe next time I guess. Clear lake is a great town to spend time in even if it's just for a day or two
