It pains me to write a review and a hotel I’ve always admired as I’ve driven past. On Thursday, the 3rd of September I booked three colleagues into this hotel. One of those needed an accessible room. I was somewhat taken a back on Friday morning when reviewing with my colleagues in a meeting about the hotel and the person who needed the accessible room felt degraded due to the Manager that was on duty when they arrived. It appears that he’s whole attitude was not necessary and did not make all 3 feel very welcome. He was challenged about the accessible room due to the fact that there was no shower only a bath which my colleague cannot access. He showed little empathy to my colleague and in fact they reported was he was downright rude when a request to speak to a manager was made he said no problem then smiled and said I am the manager. My colleague accepted that little could be done due to the issue that I had booked the room.
This isn’t pleasant writing this but the word hospitality needs reviewing because my
Colleague was upset.
I on the other hand have a different take. Will not be booking again at this venue.

Staff were super friendly, helpful and polite. I arranged some bits to be our room prior to our arrival for my wife’s birthday and this was super easy to do via email. Our room was beautiful, clean and bed was super comfortable. Wife is now enjoying the spa. Would definitely recommend this place to stay and relax.

"Room was lovely, very comfortable bed and products in the bathroom were of high quality. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly Jack who found me softer pillows at 10pm when I asked. Breakfast was great, lots of options at the buffet and cooked breakfast was delicious"

"This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! The amenities such as the pool, steam room and sauna was such a nice treat to have. Staff was friendly and very welcoming. Breakfast was a bit costly but was great. Great stay!"
