The boys loved the upstairs loft and it was the perfect home base for a week of cave, kayak, boating, and swim adventures. This cool, surprisingly spacious A-Frame getaway was a perfect place to unwind after a long day of hiking Mammoth Cave National Park. It was clean and well decorated, and with three bedrooms (one in a fun loft), it was a great stay for the four of us! Our kids loved the space and we loved not staying in a hotel with four kids for two nights. Having a second full bathroom has become a must and we loved seeing more of the beautiful countryside on our way to and from Mammoth Cave. It was clean and beautifully simplistic. Not a loud neighborhood at all. We enjoyed the time spent at the cabin relaxing. There are parks and trails around the area; close to Nolin Lake as well. The beds were comfy and plenty of room for playing games at night or watching a movie. If the ferry is open its a quick 25 minute drive to the caves. Our first night a big storm hit and the ferry was closed all week, so we had a 50 minute drive to the caves, but enjoyed the drive each day. ##### Erich N. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin and our time in KY. The cabin was very clean, comfortable beds, clean/fresh towels and sheets, adequately stocked kitchen. We had plenty of room for a cozy stay with our family of 5\. We visited Mammoth Cave and found lots to see there. We did have a little bad weather during our stay and found there is not much else around the area to go and do. We would absolutely recommend a stay at this cabin. Plenty of room to spread out inside and out. Beds were comfy, everything was new and clean. Wonderful water pressure in the showers! Stairs to loft are narrow but fine for our kids. We roasted marshmallows in the evening, our host Angela gave a great dinner suggestion at nearby Buoy’s.
