Built in the nineteenth century, this freestone mansion has retained everything that makes the charm of the bourgeois residences of yesteryear: large volumes bathed in light, stone and old solid oak parquet floors, moldings on the ceiling and generous windows that open onto the large terraced garden of the property or on the rooftops of the village. And everywhere, that rare feeling of being somewhere with soul.

The house consists of 6 bedrooms, a large living room, a dining room with a period piano and a fully equipped kitchen. You will find yourself in a real family home that is warm, authentic and full of character. Perfect for a total change of scenery in the calm of the Champagne countryside with family or friends.

The house extends over two levels and offers beautiful volumes.
Night: upstairs there are 5 spacious bedrooms with period furniture overlooking the garden and the castle of Cirey sur Blaise; A large master suite with a very large bed of 180*200, a baby bed and an adjoining shower room. The latter communicates onto another bedroom with a large bed 140*200 which also has independent access from the secondary staircase.
Another master suite with a double bed of 160*200 with private toilet and which opens onto the fourth bedroom composed of a double bed 140*200, a single bed 90*200 and a baby bed; Ideal for families with children.
A last bedroom offering 5 beds with two large beds 140*200 and a single bed 90*200.
All rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels.

The ground floor has a bedroom/office including a convertible sofa bed with a 140*190 mattress.
Day: a living room with period fireplace, a very large dining room with period piano and a large table for warm meals. A fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, espresso machine, air fryer and all the necessary equipment for your stay) opening onto the terrace as well as a large bathroom with bath and shower and a laundry room.
Outside: several spaces in the very large private terraced garden of 4000m2 with a view of the castle and the entire Blaise valley. Several garden furniture, barbecue and brazier at your disposal, ideal for outdoor meals and summer evenings.

Cirey-sur-Blaise is a peaceful village in Haute-Marne, known for its castle which was the residence of Voltaire in the eighteenth century (300 m from the house). Here, it is the Champagne countryside in all its simplicity: forests, hills, calm and fresh air. The village and its surroundings have everything you need for a pleasant stay in the countryside. Every morning a bakery lorry comes by to get bread and croissants for your breakfast; 5 minutes by car you have a mini-market, a pharmacy, a doctor's office.
The house is 15 minutes from Colombey-les-Deux-Églises with the Charles de Gaulle Memorial, 20 minutes from Joinville and its supermarkets, 30 minutes from Bar sur Aube and its TGV station and 35 minutes from Chaumont or Saint Dizier.
