"Absolutely unique place, which is hard to find anywhere else. It has everything needed for cooking in the kitchen or bbq’ing on the terrace, and the setting within an old castle complex and in the midst of mountainous nature is just awesome. We had a great time here, even though it was unfortunately very short for us. "

"Lovely accomodation with outside patio and shaded area. Cool for the summer and with underfloor heating to take the chill off the tiles throughout the year. A little noisy at night but it didn't spoil our week. The beach is about a 20 minute walk away and there are walks in the forest so you can walk for miles. The trains to Pisa, Viareggio and Lucca are cheap and the station is a 15 minute walk away. The supermarket is very close and there are other shops on the doorstep, as well as...

"Pros: Das Haus ist mit so viel Liebe eingerichtet, viele kleine Details die es einem leicht machen sich wie zuhause zu fühlen. Aber das was einem das Gefühl von Familien gibt sind auf jedenfall Giovanni und Cecilia. Wir haben nicht damit gerechnet das es Menschen gibt die so freundlich uns und den Hunden gegenüber sind. "This is an amazing property located slap bang in the centre of La Spezia old town with restaurants, bars, cafés and independent shops on the doorstep. We had the duplex suite with a large lounge-diner area and bathroom downstairs, then a bedroom with massive bath tub and a further bathroom upstairs. The finish and cleanliness are exceptional with the room serviced daily. Despite the size of the apartment, there isn’t a kitchen but plenty of affordable places within a minutes walk. I think the only possible issue was the very steep stairs that might not be good for older guests or young children. All said, we’ll definitely be back again."
