(27 reviews) The apartment was very cute & clean. We arrived after dark so it was a bit difficult to get into the unit. Very detailed instructions (w/ pics!) were given but it was dark in staircase & courtyard & using a cell phone light on silver lock box dials made things complicated. In our foggy, traveling brains, we thought we were getting keys from an office door & didn't realize it was our actual unit but a neighbor guided us. The description & details are accurate - the ceiling upstairs is 6' tall, my husband's head rubbed the ceiling. The stairs going up to the bed are very, very steep. We were both so nervous we would fall in the middle of the night if we went downstairs for the restroom so we ended up using the super comfy, fold out couch in the living room. There were even extra blankets and pillows stored inside the couch! The washer/dryer takes 2 1/2 hrs to wash & dry, plan accordingly. It is made for small loads so do not expect to dump a suitcase worth of clothes into one load. It was nice to have the convenience though. The neighborhood was a good central location and we felt safe walking around. (1,007 reviews) Lovely friendly staff and a beautiful hotel. Our room was beautiful, clean and the bed was so comfy. Only issue was the bathtub didn’t fill as the plug was dodgy which was a shame as it was a lovely large tub. Also, had a coffee in the morning in the room and the milk pod provided curled into chunks in the coffee so I’m assuming out of date although we didn’t check as was in a rush to check out. Location is perfect! Lots of choices for food and a lovely Irish bar on the corner. The centre is only a 10 minute walk. I’d definitely recommend staying here and if I come back to Budapest I’d certainly stay here again.
