Christie Beach Conservation Area

I put a reservation from Thursday to Friday, 2 nights! But unfortunately I got there Friday morning. Thursday afternoon I call to let them know, the lady ask me to pay for the first night event I wasn’t there so I did it was 265$. When we finally got there Friday morning I didn’t notice that they took 377$ on my DEBIT CARD, and the lady at the desk told me I nee to paid 377$ plus a deposit on a credit card and my room wasn’t ready!!! Like it was supposed to be ready since last night because I was supposed to be there the night before! Fast forward she gave me my room. When I notice the 2 transactions I call them to ask them why, they said it’s a hold and I’ll get my money back 48 hours after checking out! I left the hotel on Saturday morning and on wensday I still didn’t have my money back on my card I call a manager and he again told me 48hours and send me the code that can confirm they ask for my refund! Today mark one full week since they told me 48 hours for my refund! Seriously what really bother me is that there’s no where on they website or on Expedia where I put my reservation and even at the hotel no one said they gonna but a hold on my DEBIT CARD PLUS 250 on a CREDIT CARD plus the paiement of the 2 nights! Like seriously ill give you a credit card for the hold not my debit card. So I’m really desapointed, I feel that they lie to me for my refund and that really piss me off! So yes I’ll call today again because they lie to me! The worst experience ever!
