A large living room shares its seashell collection with plantation furnishings and the designer fabrics from the spice isles of Indonesia. Built-in cabinetry throughout the house recalls storage crafted for a sailing schooner. Host met us at the airport and led us to the rental which was helpful in getting acclimated to driving on the left, finding the exact location and showing us the home and area. Beach is within walking distance but is rocky in that area. Grocery and restaurants just down the road. Clean and spacious we easily could have had a group of 10\. Location was just outside of Christiansted in a gated community. Overall, I would recommend this house and our host Enid Francis 1000%. Enid met us at the airport, and we followed her to the house. It is centrally located on the island so you can get to either the east coast or the west coast within 30 minutes. The community is gated and extremely quiet. Although there is no fence in the backyard, we never saw anyone when we were outside in the pool. Things that were available included: plenty of propane for the grill, two jugs for the water cooler, beach chairs, lounge chairs, pool toys, detergent for the washer, everything you need for the kitchen to include spices, board games and playing cards- they've thought of everything! It came with everything we needed and was conveniently located near shops, restaurants, grocery stores, and beaches. The property managers were very responsive. Highly recommend. ##### Matthew M. A paradise This place is truly amazing, beautiful, clean and well maintained. I’ve been at several vacation rental homes before. This has been one of the best vacation experiences. The owner greeted us at the airport and gave a tour of the house. The house is even more beautiful than the pictures show. Everything was perfect. Everything was just as shown and described. Never needed to contact the manager as everything was perfect. Just minutes to drive to beaches, restaurants, and grocery store. Had a problem with the air conditioner which was taken care of very promptly.
