My family of 5 stayed for a week and it was an excellent vacation. Plenty of room for all. We prefer cooking to eating out most nights and everything we needed to do so was there. We even grilled 1 night. I highly recommend renting the underwater scooters. Hosts were very kind and quick to respond. Hoping to return next year!
We have spent our winters in St. Croix for the past 43 years and are therefore are very familiar with the island and its accommodations. We have stayed in this unit previously under different ownership, and in comparison, to prior visits, this year's experience was disappointing.The unit did not have a working bbq, as advertised. What was there was a derelict bbq that lacked working burners; the back of the firebox was missing, the wheels and side shelf were collapsed.There was a lack of sufficient accommodation. The outdoor patio table was missing and the kitchen lacked a table or adequate chairs at the counter, as well as other essentials. The lack of a pato table or at least enough chairs at the counter made it awkward to share a meal or enjoy a relaxing cocktailThere was a lack of basic maintenance. The refrigerator leaked constantly, causing a puddle on the kitchen floor throughout our stay, requiring frequent mopping so as not to track it throughout the unit.There were no beach towels, requiring us to use the bath towels for personal as well as beach use. The WiFi was intermittent and at times, totally unavailable.
