The room is very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff is very helpful especially 李鑫who was very patient in teaching us how to use the local Map Apps and in getting a taxis, thank you very much.

Clean modem contemporary feels. Love the bathroom this is the first hotel I found with bathtub in 3 weeks.

Old carpet but great fitness facilities!

I've stayed at this hotel a half dozen times now on trips to Chongqing for work. The hotel is reasonably prices, the rooms are nice enough, everything works and the staff is helpful. The breakfast is pretty good too. I seriously doubt I'd pick this hotel if I were on holiday, but it's a convenient location for me and perfectly serviceable.

Excellent hotel
Excellent hotel, one of the best I saw in the whole China. Price is very reasonable for a 4 star hotel, service is excellent, staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Clean and Friendly Service Oriented Hotel
The first checkin dated 26/10 experience on our the other booking was totally disaster. However the check in experience on this return trip was superb under the supervision of front desk manager Mr Jack Ran. The friendly, fast and prompt service granted by this young man was really appreciated, who has immediately upgraded us to Suite Room without any additional charges on extra bed, after realised our requested twin bed rooms were sold out. The good breakfast with variety combination of East meet West choices.

We check in about 12 am on 26/10/2016. Unfortunately the hotel could not find our booking & made us wait for an hour before they finally found the confimation. I asked the hotel manager to call hotel.com and I showed him the hard copy of the confimation but they refused to call and kept telling me no such confirmation. This was extremely frustrating as it was late and we were tired. We asked for them to check us in first and check with the hotel.com later but they refused.

Dissapointed in Hotel inability to be flexible wit
I stayed at this hotel twice in the past two weeks. Once for 5 nights and then again for 1 night after other travels before returning back to Korea. Using an online site I made a mistake booking the hotel and booked my room for the night after I needed it. The room was fully paid for and there was no option for a refund from the site I understand most sites don't offer changes without paying an additional charge, but after having already stayed at this hotel for 5 nights I thought the hotel itself would be able to allow me to stay the night before with the booking I had but they would not. I was forced to pay again for the room and lost the money for my booking the following night. In addition, this was a couple days after the national holiday and the hotel was not fully booked so I could have easily taken a vacant room. I think this showed very poor customer service by the hotel staff and was very disappointing. During my 2 weeks of travel I spent a total of 9 days staying at 2 different Holiday Inns (Chongqing and Chengdu) but with customer service like this I don't expect to use the Holiday Inn in the future. In addition, after paying for the room, I was given a room with a shower that was poorly constructed. The door could not be opened if the shower nob was turned on or facing a certain way. It made pre-warming the shower impossible as I had to be in the shower with the door closed to operate it.

Chinese new year in Chongqing
I was visiting friends for Chinese new year .I also had my birthday whilst I stayed at the hotel to which the hotel provided a card and a cake which was a nice surprise.As far as I was concerned a good hotel and a lovely stay in Chongqing

Nice hotel. Highly recommended
The hotel is in a nice central location, restaurants and convenience stores are in walking distance. It's also close to train and bus stations. The room is big, clean, and comfortable. Nice bathroom as well. It's definitely better than a lot of the other holiday inns we have stayed in the states. We had a great stay. Highly recommended.

Good Hotel
Good Hotel. Staff was very helpful when I had issues with my mandarin. Rooms are nicely decorated and clean. I found the gym a bit small and the pool a bit cold. Finally the breakfast had a nice selection but DO NOT buy the steaks. Meat tasted and looked.like it was boiled and in no way shape or form did it resemble a grilled steak..Worst Steakhouse Ive been to in China.

Fine for business stay
Bed quite hard and bathroom a bit dated. Very disappointing there was no guest internet access in the lobby. If you do not have your own laptop you cannot get net access, which is difficult as nearby interet cafes require passport copy etc. and very tedious to use. I would not stay here again for this reason alone, even though I got an upgrade to a suite on my last stay. I'd rather next access than a sofa....

Affordable hotel with friendly staff
Stayed there for 3 nights and had a surprisingly wonderful time ! Check in was a breeze .. Breakfast buffet was decent .. Staff were efficient ! Lovely indoor pool too . Only hiccup my friend and I had was the air conditioning in our rooms were not functioning properly . However they switched rooms for us promptly and all was well . Not too many English speaking staff but most will get by . Excellent hotel !

Fantastic service!
The hotel was fantastic and the level of service was second to the none. The hotel's location might not be close to the city centre (about a 20 minute taxi ride) but it is within walking distance of Paradise Walk - one of the main shopping and commercial streets. The room was very comfortable and spacious, whilst the other facilities (swimming pool, coffee shop, gym) were splendid. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Chongqing, i know i'll be staying there on my next trip

i love that hotel.that is pretty big different the holiday inn in usa. i suggest the people should choose this hotel if stay in chinqing. in my birthday.they send me a birthday cake with the birthday card.make me so happy. i can say.thankyou very much.

While the food was superb, the rooms do not come with airsonditioning. Apparently, that feature is only enabled certain times of the year. The rooms are incredibly stuffy and the only circulation one can get is from the heater/fan. There is NO AIR. I even had the engineer come up to inspect and he laughed and said that there is NO AIR. 酒店位置完美，不在鬧市區，但交通便利，距離重慶北站極為方便，到機場打車都只而20多分鐘40幾元車資，到各景點都非常方便，唯一要吐糟的就是房間中央空調，冬季暖氣氣溫太高了，除非一早知道帶上短袖短褲睡覺否則很悶熱，第二晚才醒悟可以開點窗，就停了房間空調，舒適多了

房間空間很闊落及整潔，雙人大床很舒適。地點很好，地鐵站在附近，酒店對面有很多食肆。建議大堂可以加添一些坐椅給客人坐著等候
