I naively didn't expect to have about 2 flights of stairs from the street with the add saying hotel & I made sure there was an elevator. Beware of the stairs if you have heavy luggage. The hallway from the elevator was a bit sketchy and not well lit but that could be remedied. I have to say this apartment was in a great location. Stunning views of the river at night. Additionally, the walkway leading into the room was very dark, making it feel unsafe. The glass door to the balcony did not have a lock and remained slightly open, which made us feel uncomfortable leaving our belongings in the room or sleeping there overnight. Another issue was the check-out experience. The host initially agreed to a one-hour late check-out but later changed his mind, creating an uncomfortable and awkward situation.
