Dark and dingy room at the back overlooking a swamp-like swimming pool and AC units. Bed reasonably comfortable, pillows (or rather pillow) dreadful. Inconveniently separate toilet and bathroom. Breakfast not worth the money really, but the coffee was nice. Host was agreeable and friendly. Sadly this was the only place we could find as most were fully booked. Next time, I’ll look more in advance and get something better. It was easy to check in and since it was not a busy day we felt like we had a private resort! The hot tub was terrific with extra clean shower & changing rooms. It was a nice touch to have tea available next to the tub too. It was a little too cold and windy to use the pool that day but it was also very clean. It was very nice to have the fridge in our room since we stopped for wine and cheese in town. The bed was very comfortable and we slept in which was needed after a long day of walking. Parking was easy which was also a relief. Great stay!"
