Hotels.com website suggested it was 5\* hotel as did the hotel marketing. Not sure where that rating came from! 3\* would be better rating in my opinion. Hotel was quite dated but clean and the staff were friendly. Due to being winter the pools were closed and I think there was only one other person staying at the hotel (I only stayed there due to a cancellation of my flight due to storm Ciara). You will be forgotten at the restaurant even if you are the only customer there. I was sitting there for 20 minutes with no one there after i got the menu card. When i needed to check out and take a cap to the airport i was not able to withdraw some cash with my Visa for the taxi. The taxi does not accept Visa so basically i was stuck in the middle of nowhere with no help from the reception when i needed it the most. Needs updating. This was a hotel that needs to be updated. The carpet was old and dirty, the door to the common balcony did not lock so there was no security. The bed was old and incredibly uncomfortable. The shower was very nice, Breakfast was nice and the people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite large and the bed was nice. The bed was quite uncomfortable and linen cheap. It is very close to the airport but quite far from the city centre. I was staying there at the end of April and there was hardly anyone else in the hotel.
