"This was my first time staying at this hotel and will definitely be my last! The staff were cold and unpleasant! It was like pulling teeth getting them to provide information about my stay. The room was right next to the elevator and the large window was broken and didn’t align very well which made for a very noisy night overlooking a busy highway! The breakfast was limited both in terms of choices and quality! Don’t be fooled by the high ratings showing on the website."

"Loved this little cabin. Isolated clearing a mile off the road with a wonderful view of the mountains. Idyllic place very close to Charlottesville. Perfect place for my dog to roam without worry of cars or other concerns. The owner was very kind to check on me every few days also!"
