"The hotel is conveniently located in the central CBD. Staff is always helpful. However, the hotel rooms can do with updates - I have stayed at the hotel a few times and I find the rooms have electric plugs coming off the walls, bulbs not working, wardrobes are old and now give off that old smell. I lived off my suitcase as I feared the transfer of the wardrobe smell to my clothes.
Shower was draining very slowly until I notified reception, they promptly attended to it. Bedroom walls had smudges which appeared cleanable. Room entrance door quality is below standard, it feels like the doors can be pushed open. Bathroom had the sink too close to the loo and general quality of fittings is below standard.
Great hotel but TLC in rooms is overdue!!!"
"The Expedia did let us down this time as nothing about this accommodation was matched with the description on their website from the location; facilities in the room to the continental breakfast. The bathroom is tiny; no hot water and the shower didn’t work. The so called“continental breakfast” is the worst as you have no choice of anything. The cook brought to us a bowl of corn flakes with hot milk, a plate with a frankfurter sausage, some crumbled egg and a spoonful bake bean, 2 slices of bread (no butter-no toaster) and a cup of tea. The housekeeper and also breakfast server didn’t do her job properly( not clean the room at all during 3 days we were there); extremely poor quality food for breakfast and serious lack of customer care. Overall, unpleasant stay and I would not recommend this to anyone.

"Great boutique lodge in Bulawayo. Property staff was very accommodating and hospital. Great convenient location within 10 min of city centre and secured gated parking with 24 hour guard. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the pool. "
