"The room I was initially given was not what I had booked, but after raising the issue, I was upgraded, which I appreciated. The staff were excellent, especially the security team. Breakfast was okay, but I wouldn’t consider it a Full English as advertised, particularly for what I paid. Also, the road leading to the lodge is in poor condition and needs improvement. Overall, a decent stay for a few days in Bulawayo."

"I cannot say enough about how good my stay at Selborne was. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and well appointed with en suite facilities. A good breakfast is served. The hotel is centrally located in Bulawayo and convenient for many restaurants and shops. I stayed 7 nights and used it as a hub for visiting the sights of Zimbabwe. A great hotel at a reasonable price."

"Great boutique lodge in Bulawayo. Property staff was very accommodating and hospital. Great convenient location within 10 min of city centre and secured gated parking with 24 hour guard. My only complaint was the cleanliness of the pool. "
