The views and access to the water were fantastic. We kayaked, paddle boarded, and fished right off of the dock. We were able to see tons of water birds from the house. The house was well stocked and very comfortable. The only downsides were that the spiral staircase to the third level is a big challenge to older adults, and neither deck is screened which limits use when the mosquitos are bad. As retired people visiting the island, it was away from the bustle and close to the wildlife refuge which is where we wanted to spend most of our time. The setting was lovely, but there was repeated music from next door for hours every day and evening. Fortunately we liked the music, but the sound track was only several hours long and repeated throughout the day.
