Accommodation was satisfactory but the noise from other residents throughout the night was awful. In our room on the ground floor, you could hear every footstep and every word - the walls were paper thin.

Proper traditional English hotel! Centre of Hartlepool. Reception staff very friendly as were cleaning staff I met.
Quiet despite location and easy walking distance to transport networks.

We had an excellent stay in a castle room- you could really get the old building vibes but in a renovated room! The property itself is well maintained and beautiful, the staff are very kind and helpful, and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. An absolutely wonderful stay!

We all enjoyed the breakfast. We had meals in the evening two nights of our stay and would like to commend the waiter Mike who went above and beyond on his duties, very attentive, polite and courteous.
