We were very disappointed in this property. The one plus was front desk staff. She was very friendly and helpful. Appeared as though she slept on couch in lobby amongst a bunch of storage boxes random appliances. If it wasn’t already so late at night and we hadn’t been so exhausted, we would’ve left after we saw our room. We had a cabin on the river and were told we got “the best one”. We had to drive behind the main building and across the grass to a totally unlit area. Had to use a flashlight to find our cabin, (trudging through tall wet grass) and unlock the door.
Once inside we found dirty utensils in kitchen sink, empty water bottles on chair, sand on carpet, broken blinds with no curtains, broken out screens, dirty bathtub. My children were very nervous about staying there and all huddled into bed with me. We were up and out first thing in the morning and then were able to see that the grounds resembled a junkyard. Trailers full of junk covered in tarps amongst the overgrown weeds. The “marina”consisted of a small dock with no boats.
Not somewhere I would recommend.
