We timed the stay for the July 14th celebrations and vide-grenier which was extra fun to see so many people out and about! "We had a wonderful stay in August 2014. The rental is very homey and cozy, but with plenty of room inside and fantastic grounds outside. It has fantastic views of the countryside. It was a good base for exploring Burgundy including the wine route. It is just outside of Autun, which was fascinating and an hour from Beaune, a charming town. Our only regret was we didn't get to use the swimming pool - the weather did not cooperate. The property owner was a pleasure to deal with."

"Looks like something out of a history book. Not in a bad way though. The owners or managers have done a good job with what’s a very old building. The room was spacious and clean with plenty of towels provided. There was air conditioning in the room which was very welcome!! Location is pretty central and the hotel accommodates cyclists and their bikes."

"We were put into hotel de la gare (sister hotel next door)as it was better for limited mobility guests. The room and bathroom were perfect, being on the ground floor and with all the amenities needed. Breakfast was good quality and reasonably priced. The restaurant had a limited menu but was OK"
