"it's a climb of 24 wide and solid steps to the floor with the rooms. This led to a well lit and wide hallway. The room was bigger than I thought, with a huge window and plenty of light. Very tidy and clean. They even provide earplugs as the ground floor is a nightclub. I didn't need them. The breakfast had a huge selection from a several choices of cooked breakfast, plus cereal, baked goods, yogurt, juices. The one drawback for me is there is no one on site overnight. However, guests were provide with an emergency number that is answered during the night, and that person is apparently very nearby."

"We were upgraded which was a very pleasant surprise to us. The room and facilities were all perfect. Lovely size room with all we required to hand. The reception staff were very helpful and efficient, as were the restaurant and cleaning staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Bed was really comfortable. Location is good. Staff excellent. Rooms probably due a refurb soon. Disappointed that there seems to be 2 different full English breakfast options offered , one for resident guests and one for paying daily customers. The resident breakfast is not to the same standard . We paid a lot of money for a 2 night stay and the breakfast definitely lets it down. "

"Absolutely loved staying at this house, comfortable quiet but within walking distance to local shops.Perfect for long walks along seafront or beach with our dogs. "
