"A gem of a property. The glass windows. The views. The peaceful aura of the estate. And the fact it was pet friendly made it a 10 out of 10. Make sure to visit Cape Charles. And Chincoteague was our home for two days. So much to see and do. Wine fridge and secondary fridge in the laundry room definitely came in handy. Kayaks and canoe were a ton of fun. Will definitely bring a crab pot next time."

"We loved the house! It was so clean and in a perfect location. The only two things that we didn't like was the water wasn't very hot when taking a shower and the water was yellowish and had an odd smell. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the quietness of the property."

"Finding the property was challenging. After traveling for 8 hours our online map kept telling us the location was approx 1 mile away at a vacant run down house. We had to call the phone number provided and at first the person who responded, seemed reluctant to give us accurate directions. Once I communicated my frustration, then she started helping us locate the long driveway next to a cornfield. We went up and down the road several times before we could locate the driveway.The only other negative was it seemed there was a pool available at some resort next to the property. This was not clear. The poolIs located at a KOA campground down the road. You receive a pass to go to the KOA once you arrive. This was a little misleading in all the marketing materials.Otherwise, we absolutely love the cottage and especially the location! It is a beautiful setting in the woods, located next to a huge salt marsh. The creek flows through the back yard between the cottage and marsh. Is you are looking for a place to “getaway” after a day at Chincoteague or ocean city, this is it!"

"This is a beautiful property and the experience could not have been easier. The house is roomy, the yard with the fire pit is huge, well-kept and peaceful, and being on the dock looking out at the river is heavenly. I would come here for a long weekend to unplug any day. The wifi is slow, but that's to be expected in a fairly rural area."

"This house was exactly as pictured and clearly reflects how much the owners care about maintaining it. It was clean, welcoming, and perfect for our group. With plenty of beds, it easily accommodated multiple families, and the excellent Wi-Fi made it easy for parents to get some work done while the kids were at the beach.For softball families, the location is hard to beat. The Pocomoke tournament fields are just a one-minute drive (or a short walk) away, making early mornings and busy game schedules incredibly convenient. The neighborhood is quiet, yet you're just minutes from Walmart, Starbucks, and plenty of fast-food options.The owner was responsive, friendly, and very accommodating throughout our stay. One thing to know is that the property uses well water, so you may want to bring bottled drinking water if that's your preference. We had no issues using the well water for showers, washing dishes, or laundry.The outdoor deck was one of our favorite features, and we made great use of the propane grill. Inside, the layout worked perfectly for a large group. The bunk beds in two of the bedrooms were a huge hit with the kids, the primary bedroom was spacious and comfortable, and having three showers across four bathrooms was an absolute lifesaver with a house full of teenage girls getting ready for games each morning.Overall, this is an excellent rental for multiple families, tournament teams, or anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient place to vacation."
