"The location is a bit further from the beach than I expected, but thats because I didn't realize there are 2 Howard Johnsons in Virginia Beach. There were a few minor maintenance issues, but overall we were pleased. It was clean and comfortable! The staff was friendly and we appreciated the complimentary coffee, juice and breakfast snacks. Given the moderate price, I'd give a thumbs up and would book again. "

"Marjac is by far the best and cheapest place to stay while visiting VA Beach. The outside isnt that eye catching but the rooms are phenomenal. The suites are nice and spacious with its very own standalone bedrooms. All rooms are ocean front for the perfect view of the mornings. This is the only place i ever stay at when im in VA beach for work or pleasure."

"Motel has a great spot in the town. They have only smoking rooms, should make it clear on the description, sink was clogged, floor was poorly cleaned, bathroom can have a deep clean too. If this can improve, the place can be a good spot to stay. "

"SUPERB! You can't beat the location! My bed was comfy. Plenty of parking. And HUGE room. I had a king suite, so I had a kitchen. Not fancy. If you want fancy, go elsewhere. This hotel is rundown, but the service is friendly and welcoming. I travel with service dog and had no problems. There was nefarious shady characters hanging around...they don't bother you.
