"This is our second stay. When they say 1 step above camping that is misleading. By that I mean, if you have camped, this is 20 steps above camping. You have a stove, refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. It has a screened porch, a deck and right on the pond. There are lights and outlets to charge phones and there is service for phones! This is better quality then most hotels for the money with the exception of no running water and outside (clean) bathroom. So, if you see this and you are...

"This was mine and my husbands' first trip to Maine and Wanda made us feel right at home. She was always quick to respond and helpful with advise and recommendations. This little Dyers Bay cottage was such a nice place to come back to after an afternoon of exploring the area. We were blessed with perfect weather and temperatures and the sunsets were beautiful. We missed the sunrises because, being from KY, we never realized that it gets daylight at 4:30am, lol. We wish it was that way in KY :)...

"Me and my boyfriend came to Maine to hike in Acadia National Park and despite the distance (~40 mins) from ANP, decided to stay here. We didn’t regret the decision! We loved coming back here to relax at the end of the day. We even took advantage of the kayaks one morning. The area is just very peaceful overall and this cabin is very cozy."

"Check in here was a breeze and communication with the property owners was so smooth. I always got a prompt response. The cottage itself was very cozy and, although not a ton of space, didn't feel crammed at all. It had all the amenities you would need stocked right in the cottage and there was easy supply for more towels and such in the main office. Outdoor areas were cute as well. A couple of grills and picnic tables to use if you chose, along with a tucked away firepit area to go relax with...
