As the setting sun filters through the forest, you can gather round the firepit for s'mores and stories of the day's adventures. The central living space is lined with windows on three sides, with a wood-burning fireplace, a stacked stone hearth, and a wall-mounted smart TV inviting you in. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet around us. The covered porch is spacious, and it was nice being able to drink morning coffee outside, even on a rainy day. The amenaties were excellent. Soap, linens, cooking and cleaning supplies were all provided. I appreciated the propane grill so we could grill out. The firepit is very nice too. Nested between Blue Ridge and Ellijay you can’t go wrong. The cabin is the mix of traditional and modern. The furniture is top notch! The bedrooms are super comfy as well. Plenty of games are provided for unlimited fun. I would recommend having a AWD vehicle although not absolutely necessary. Service can be spotty so make sure you have directions on “offline mode” and or the ones provided here. This is our new favorite location in the area and we definitely will be back! It was supposed to have a regular coffee maker but it was missing. Hard to contact Vacasa and when I did I was told they would bring one but never did. The furnishings were comfortable and the cabin was beautiful. The only issue we had was that the electric outlets in both bathrooms would not work. We messaged the host and we were told that the property manager would be notified. No one called and no one came out to resolve the issue. With 3 adult women, this was definitely an issue getting ready. Overall this cabin was perfect and I would definitely rent it again. Hopefully the property manager will be more responsive in the future. ##### Jane T. We were able to check in early which was nice. the cabin was very clean and looked just like the pictures. the outside deck was relaxing and peaceful. Visitors were deer and wild turkeys how fun too watch. We enjoyed our stay very much. The driveway can be intimidating at first with a suv but I got used it fast. But being on a motorcycle was a little concerning, but i got thru it also. So all good things have some negative things and i am nit picking about things that bothered me. Staying there three weeks there was not any chest of draws to put my clothes in, so it felt like living out of a suitcase. second only one night stand in the bedroom and we are accustom to having one on each side of the bed to charge phones etc. Three the couch in living room is a chiropractors dream i could not sit there with out back pain. would we go back? absolutely it was much more positive than negative and the cabin is terrific, we enjoyed it very much even with the hurricane on its way.
