I had an excellent stay at this Motel. The owner/managers were very kind and attentive. The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. They had a microwave and spacious fridge. For $56 a night I received more than expected. Highly recommend!!!

Man at desk was super nice. Rooms need to be updated but were clean. We got very cold as the heater is back towards the bathroom with only a doorway to allow heat/air to move into sleeping area.

We had issues the first night with the party above us being loud. We put in a call to mgmt and they went above and beyond what was needed to fix the situation. They even fixed us a room on the other side of the motel away from others converting a queen room into a king. So sweet but thankfully we didnt have to move as the party above quieted down. The mgmt was so very apologetic too! Great people! We will be back! The building is old as are all the hotels In Maggie Valley NC but rooms were spotless and they r gradually updating. Everything was good, bed, bedding, tv & bathrooms! Thx!

When cherokee gets too expensive during my travels I go on down to this spot and they have a better rate and quality of place usually than the places down the mountain.

The woman who checked us in was sweet, welcoming, and helpful. Parking was spacious. No frills room. Needs updating and overall TLC (paint, molding work, etc.). The room was non-smoking but the sheets and covers smelled like smoke. I would never recommend it for long stays. We arrived late and left early and that was okay but staying in bedroom longer than we did may not be the best.

Pareen was pleasant and very helpful. We had a heat unit issue and were able to switch rooms effortlessly. The hotel is older but comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The only negative I can say is there's no fan in the bathroom

I like that they had everything ready and basically gave me a key when I showed up. Room as clean and taken care of. The 2 story-additional building is really noisy with people going up and down stairs. Probably would be better to stay in the 1-story building. Great location.

I've stayed here last 4 years never a problem. This year was very different,peopl gathering outside rooms smoking and joking throughout the night. I opened the door to a smoking lounge,they need a designated smoking area.The Worst was the BRIGHT lights they've installed stayed on all night and lite the room up like daylight. The one redeeming factor is they have the most comfortable mattress.

My family came for a weekend get away & to explore the area. The room was very clean & organized. For the price we paid it was a good place to stay! The only issue we had was the TV kept glitching in & out, not sure if because reception not so good in mountains or what but other than that the room was nice.

Worst trip ever!
I was very disappointed . The bathroom sink was clogged up and there was a leak around the bottom of the sink or shower. I reported it. The beds were very uncomfortable like sleeping on a roll away bed.. the mattress was on top of a metal frame and the mattress wasn’t thick enough you could feel the metal frame. The manager.offered us another room but the rooms were the same. I’ve stayed there years ago and it was a great place to stay! But I won’t be staying there again!

The mold in this room and especially the bathroom was so bad, what little time spent in the room, my nose was clogged and I had a sore throat. The shoe mold was rotten and green from mold. The ceiling in the bathroom had mold. There was no exhaust fan in the bathroom.
